Shorter Inseam Than Pic

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

The inseam of the pair of boxers I received was shorter than what's in the picture at https://content.backcountry.com/images/items/1200/ICE/ICE00H8/BK.jpg. The waistband also seemed smaller than I prefer.

Nothing else that I've worn has come close to the comfort and breathability that these have. They're soft, fit perfectly, breathe well, even when I'm out running, climbing, or in the office. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a pair or two of these (or any other merino underwear) and you'll never go back.

So far these icebreaker boxer briefs have unmatched comfort and have been breathable for my trail-running/climbing needs. As some reviewers have mentioned, they do tend to ride up the leg, but I think this is characteristic of most boxer-briefs and honestly depends on fit and other variables. These icebreaker undies are great and I will definitely consider buying another pair!

Another great-feeling product from icebreaker's merino wool goodness...I had an old pair of these from 3 years back but these newer versions seem to fit even better. Best thing is I can wear them backpacking or camping multiple days without washing due to wool's "no stink" properties. I am 6 foot 180 and wear a medium which run true to size on my 33 inch waist. Time for me to buy a few new pairs & colors...

Icebreaker makes great products. I like their boxers because of the lightness, the great fit, the odor resistance, and the feel. I am giving this pair four stars instead of five because the body-fit inseam is just too much body-fit for my comfort. I absolutely love the regular Anatomica boxers and will stick with those. These are a great boxer, I just am not a fan of the body fit feel. I typically wear a 29 waist and the Small fits my waist well.

The nice thing about merino boxers is the ability to use them more than once without washing and get away with it. These are a little short and tend to ride. I'm a bigger dude though so might not be an issue if you have a smaller frame. I don't wear them that often so they were adequate for when i did need them.

Wanted to try fancy undies. Got three pairs of these. They ride up terribly, and all of mine have ripped at waist where the elastic meets the body. Trashed, back to hane’s cotton boxers.

Ice Breaker quality with a longer inseam

I tried the Icebreaker BodyFit 150 Ultralight Anatomica Boxer Brief after having worn and loved Icebreaker boxer briefs for a number of years. I don't recall the prior models that I've owned, but they all had a shorter in-seam. These are considerably longer, which makes them better for running and athletic activities, but not quite as good for just casual wear. The material is similar to the prior pairs I've had which wick sweat extremely well and are comfortable to wear for extended periods (think overnight flights). My one gripe with anything Icebreaker is that that they tend to develop holes sooner than I would like -- hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Great for work or around town. But in the mountains, the legs seem to ride up so much that by summit time, they are briefs. Still in search of a pair of merinos with the right elasticity in the legs...

A few months ago i picked up 2 pairs for a trip to baja bikepacking for a couple of weeks. merino wool is amazing for wearing multiple days without entirely grossing yourself out. immediately following the trip I replaced my entire underwear collection with these! no more cotton next to skin for me. best decision ever!

Pretty solid pair of drawers. I like the comfort of the fly an front "pocket" however the back seems a little short, so when moving, they creep slightly down. Overall, super comfy and great for hiking, climbing, working at a desk and general use.

Love these underwear, they fit great, and can be worn back to back days before washing. They wick moisture and are antimicrobial as expected from merino wool and Icebreakers in particular. I have had no issues with these having durability issues as some have stated but they also have a 1 year warranty so you are covered either way! Definitely my new go to underwear when I know I am going to be active and just in general.

For me this is the perfect style, enough support where you need it, and the trunk style ensures that they stay in place walking, hiking, climbing, etc. Wool undergarments have changed the game for me, I will wear these in the backcountry for days at a time if necessary. I wear a 35 waist pant, and the Large is right on the money. If you're wondering about style differences, attached is a photo of the 4 styles, clockwise from top left, the brief, the boxer brief, the long boxer, and the relaxed boxer. The boxer brief and long boxer fit about the same in the thigh, the long boxer being about 1.5-2 inches longer.

I've used these bad boys everywhere! They're my go-to for daily use, and for any and all adventures. The thing I've noticed most is their ability to breathe, and their ability to maintain their shape. I got tired of boxer briefs that lost their stretch and fit. These have held up for quite some time now, and I am happy to say they're always getting packed into my backpack or suitcase. These tend to fit me pretty well. I have pretty skinny legs, and the bottoms are still just barely tight. So someone with normal legs would fit into these perfectly. All in all, I recommend these to anyone. They really will work great!

I got these this winter. I took them on a yurt trip in Idaho and pretty much wore them the entire time without them stinking. They are very comfortable. They are a little small but I have thin legs and it has not bothered me. I cannot say if they are durable or not because I havent worn them very often, but they do seem very thin (but they are 150 weight so that is expected).

I got a few pairs of these last fall and like the fit and the material, but unfortunately the material does not last. Within 3 months they started getting holes in the rear area and unfortunately just don't last. The one thing I demand from undergarments is that they last a year. Rotating underwear from day to day you should not have a problem with this, but considering my cheaper boxer briefs made from cotton have lasted more than 3x as long, I just can't endorse paying this price tag for these. Other than that if you need something to last less than 6 months and want something that breathes great these are comfy and breath well.

Hey there JP! Have you purchased a new pair since these went south on you? In January this year we relaunched this product in a reinforced fabric, and have had far fewer defects. I'd love to get you in a new pair hand have up update us all on how they feel and perform. Let me know if you're interested! Sydney

The Icebreaker Body Fit 150 Ultralites are amazingly comfortable for all days. I've used them while snowboarding, biking, running and for office days. The comfort of the material used is second to none and during all activities caused no chaffing or itching down under. My only issue is with the fit. In other brands I wear a large and these seem to be slightly smaller compared to other brands (SAXX, Patagonia and My Package). Overall super happy to have a pair of these boxers.
