RX4+ Disc Brake Caliper

T6 Aluminium is a specific type of aluminum alloy that has been heat-treated to enhance its strength and durability. This makes it ideal for high-performance bicycle components, as it can withstand greater stress and impact. Choosing products made from T6 Aluminium ensures you are investing in lightweight yet robust materials that improve your bike's overall performance and longevity.

A 4-piston caliper features four pistons that apply pressure to the brake pads, allowing for more even pressure distribution across the rotor. This design enhances braking performance by providing better stopping power and responsiveness compared to calipers with fewer pistons. If you want a safer and more efficient braking system, opting for a 4-piston caliper is a smart choice.

Post Mount and Flat Mount refer to different mounting styles for brake calipers. Post Mount uses bolts to attach the caliper to the frame, making it a common choice for mountain bikes. Flat Mount, on the other hand, offers a more streamlined appearance and is often used on road bikes. Understanding these mounting styles helps you choose the right components that fit your bike's design and performance needs.

DOT fluid is a glycol ether-based brake fluid commonly used in automotive applications, while mineral fluid is derived from mineral oil and is often preferred for bicycle brakes. Mineral fluid is less corrosive and more compatible with various materials, making it a safer choice for maintaining your bike's brake system. Choosing the right fluid is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and safety.

CNC machining, or Computer Numerical Control machining, allows for high precision in manufacturing bicycle components. Parts that are CNC machined fit together perfectly and perform better due to their exact specifications. Investing in CNC machined components means you are choosing high-quality, reliable parts that enhance your bike's performance and durability.

To determine compatibility, check the specifications of your bike's frame and fork for the mounting style (Post Mount or Flat Mount) and ensure the brake caliper and rotor sizes match. Additionally, verify the type of hydraulic fluid your current system uses (DOT or mineral) to maintain consistency. If you're unsure, consulting with a bike mechanic or the manufacturer can help you make the right choice for your bike.
