Be careful with sizing
I have a pair of Speedgoats for trail, and love them. I purchased the Rincon 4 because I'd read it was a very similar shoe, but with a sole intended for road. I get them, and they run at least 1/2 size smaller then the Speedgoat. I talk to customer service, and they recommend the Mach as it runs "true to size". I get them, and they're great. Why in the world would you have multiple road models that fit differently in terms of length?!?!? With free shipping it doesn't really matter, but it's still frustrating to get something you expect to fit like another shoe you make, but it's not even close.

First Hoka shoes I've bought and love them
Took a bit to get used to the soles but after a day or two I have to say that these are a very comfortable shoe and am beyond happy that I made the choice to buy these.

I prefer the Ricon 3, a lot
These are okay, but they lack the heal strap for putting them on, and there is something clumsy about them. Somehow they got the treads wrong, and it is easier to trip.

Tread Worn Down in Under 100 Miles!
My Rincon 4s were delivered 7/22 and I've only worn them 8 days (8.5-9 miles each day, walking on asphalt road). I have 14 pairs of Hokas, mostly Rincon 3s but also Zinals and Challengers. I trade off every 2 days to a different pair (to match my walking outfits and also to give them a chance to breathe). Yesterday I noticed that the tread on these brand new Hokas is completely smooth--in only 8 days of walking! The tread is a larger waffle pattern than any of my other styles (including the Rincon 3s); I assumed (wrongly) that this tread would hold up better than the smaller patterns. The shoes look brand new, but the tread is gone and I'm very disappointed. In addition, I wear a Wide, but the Rincon 4s are narrower than the 3s (I think the new decorative marking near the toe tightens up the fit a little--unintentional I'm sure, but who cares about this design feature if it makes the shoe tighter?? I have to wear a silicone toe cover on my big toe to avoid rubbing. I also am disappointed in the lack of color choices. I wear a wide, but it seems that Hoka is very stuck on limited colors: orange, blue, aqua/teal or neutral (white, black). I hate the neutral colors and was able to get both a yellow Rincon 3 (and a black with pastel markings), but please offer more color choices, and offer the same availability in Wide as in Regular width. ! Where is a really great red?? I tried fiesta (which is advertised online as red) but it is very bright dark orange. Overall, I'm disappointed in the new Rincon 4s. Please bring back the Rincon 3s in new colors!

Nothing but downgrade from Rincon 3
Why HOKA felt the need to take the perfect shoe, Rincon 3, and change it is beyond me. I have purchased over 55 HOKA shoes. The majority were Rincon 3. Gave them as gifts to family members and acquaintances, kept 25 pairs for myself. I loved Rincon 3. These replacements are shameful. They have done nothing but ruin the perfect shoe.

Nice improvements
The improvement to the bottom sole rubber is nice but the tounge is thick. I prefer the rincon 3 but these will do

the shoes are way too tight
I wore these for a 5 mile walk. It's been over two weeks now and my feet are still in pain ended up at the chiropractor also after wearing Rincon 4. I owned a older model Rincon that was very comfortable so figured there would be no issues.

A little too snug
I've worn size 10.5 in the Cliftons and Mach 5/6; Wanted to give the Rincon 4 a try, but the size 10.5 was too tight in the toe. I was afraid jumping to a size 11 would have been too much. So returned and got another pair of Mach 6.

I will order another pair in case it's discontinued.
comfortable, durable, and light weight. It's feels like you are shoeless when wearing.

Very Disappointed
I love the Rincon 3's and was excited to get the new version. They sadly disappointed me the moment I opened the box. Hoke did away with the lightweight "Tonge" on the shoe which IMO was a great touch as there is nothing worse than a thick tongue that holds sweat! and the overall feel of the shoe is completely different, it feels more like the Clifton now and look similar to. I returned after 1 run as the sizing is completely different to, I hope they go back to the drawing board and look at the success of the Rincon 3 and incorporate some touches of that. I will buy again but have to look at other models for the near term.
