Why We Like The Kaha Low GTX Hiking Shoe
Following the footsteps of the hiking boot with the same name, the HOKA ONE ONE Kaha 2 Low GTX brings us comfort and support to a lower-profile shoe for hiking on any terrain. The Vibram MegaGrip outsole uses 5mm lugs to grip varying terrain in all conditions, while the nubuck leather upper with Gore-Tex membrane keeps feet dry through shallow crossings and rainstorms. The Kaha's EVA-cushioned construction allows us to more comfortably ascend the trail and more quickly descend back for a celebratory beverage.

Not waterproof
I have had my shoes less than a month and they didn't stand up to being worn for a couple of hours in a rainstorm today. I purchased these because my old shoes from a competitor only remained waterproof for five months.

Luvluv this shoe.
I chose this shoe bc of its versatility. The color can be dressed up or down. I can wear the shoe with my cashmere or with denim. With my faux furs or leather jacket. I really love the shoe.

Great shoes
These are the best fitting most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever had.

I wanted to love them
I wish I had done more reading before I excitedly bought this pair. I've loved my Cliftons and Gaviota - these did not offer the same out-of-the-box comfort I expected. After 3 days of moderate use, my feet and knees were still just killing me in these, and despite changing the laces configuration, kept getting significant heel slipping.

I'm sure it's probably great for young hikers
First, the shoe is as described, but I expected it to be more comfortable. I found it very stiff with a smaller toe-box and a half size too small compared with my other Hoka shoes.

Great shoe but size slightly off
The shoe is well made and as described. I really wanted to keep them, but unlike other Hoka shoes they're quite stiff, the toe-box is narrower, and they're probably a quarter size to a half size too small in length. These would require a good bit of breaking in, and that's to be expected from a hiking shoe. It's just not as comfortable nor did it have that perfect Hoka fit I've become accustomed to.

Where's the Plush?
This shoe is very sturdy. If you have wide feet it might be a good fit for you. I have narrow feet and I couldn't feel any of the plush I'm used to in other Hokas. Even with the heel lock my heels kept slipping. Runs super wide. However Skyline fits great, super comfortable. Returning these for Skyline.

Heel slips some
Still trying the shoes out. Bought a half size down and the heel does not slip as bad as the 6.5 I first ordered. The 6.5 size in another style, the heel did not slip...otherwise should be another great shoe.

A disappointment
As the long-time purchaser of many Hokas, I ordered these shoes with confidence. I have a pair of the Kaha hikers that are terrific, so when I felt the need for a low-cut pair, I ordered the same size and width. Wrong decision! They not only didn't fit, they exacerbated my knee soreness. Unfortunately, I'm past the return date :-(

Not as comfortable as Bondi
Does not fit as well as the bondi's. Slick bottoms. I purchased for work and I can't wear them because I slip all over the place. They do feel comfortable and are waterproof.
