Why We Like The Sky Kaha Hiking Boot

HOKA ONE ONE is back again balancing alpine-worthy performance with plush cushioning in the Kaha 2 GTX Hiking Boot. We appreciate the maximum comfort this boot provides when we're trekking miles through the alpine, and GORE-TEX gives reliable waterproofing against passing showers and the occasional snowfield. Vibram's MegaGrip rubber has a softer feel for better grip that we can count on whether we're scrambling rocky boulders or tackling the steepest parts of the trail.

Sole protection from rocks; waded through water

Super comfortable, stiff enough soul to prevent bruising of the feet good protection of the ankle. I would like the shoelaces to be a little longer I was able to wade through water and keep my feet relatively dry. And finally, I love the color although I did have to clean my shoes after all the mud I put on them! Hike in UT

Needs a wide option

I'm in the market for hiking boots with ankle support. I have the low GTX Anacapas, but they are a bit too squishy for me so I wanted to try the Kahas. I tried these on at a local store and unfortunately they are too tight. I wear an 8 wide in the Bondi 8's, which I LOVE, so I tried on an 8 in these. The toe box is too narrow for me. The tongue is also too narrow, there were large gaps when I tried to lace them up. The sole felt like they could have been nice, but I had to pass.

Love these shoes!

I was having alot of feet pain when my doctor told me to get a high top hiking boot to hold my ankles in place. These are excellent for that. They are so comfortable, would highly recommend.

It'll Take some Getting Used to

I think these will take some getting used to because the ankle portion seems higher and the shoe is just a bigger footprint overall. Not as comfortable as my Summer Mids that I had for years. It was waterproof and comfortable, but the lining finally ripped so I had to get a new pair.

Great Hightop, but laces are short

Very comfortable shoes foe walking & hiking. This is around my 5th or 6th pair of hoka hightops. Only issue I'd the laces are too short. They could be another 2"+ longer. Hard to replace them since they are lavender/purple & match the shoes.

Most comfortable hiking boots I've never had to break in

I love these. They are waterproof and very comfortable. Only complaint is they are not great for snow hiking. Heel sole is wider than heel and not very steady on snow or ice.

Very Comfortable, Excellent Customer Service, Fast Shipping

I purchased these hiking boots for day hiking trips up in the Sierra. They are a different style from my first pair of Hoka hiking boots, which I adore, so I decided to try this design. They are also comfortable, and I can swap the Hoka inserts with my orthotics. You simply can't go wrong with a pair of Hoka's!
