Why We Like The Sky Kaha Hiking Boot
HOKA ONE ONE is back again balancing alpine-worthy performance with plush cushioning in the Kaha 2 GTX Hiking Boot. We appreciate the maximum comfort this boot provides when we're trekking miles through the alpine, and GORE-TEX gives reliable waterproofing against passing showers and the occasional snowfield. Vibram's MegaGrip rubber has a softer feel for better grip that we can count on whether we're scrambling rocky boulders or tackling the steepest parts of the trail.

The best
Yard working, red rock wanders, going to the store. These are one of the few shoes that work with my messed up feet.

Not hardy at all
I have purchased two pairs and they only last me 7-8 months They become unglued and stretch your toes slide I get bad blisters and now I have calluses on my three toes very disappointed.

I'm in awe of how comfortable this are!
Love my new hiking boots. I hike a lot and they are so comfortable (They are the most comfortable I've ever worn) and they have amazing traction. I wore them for a 5 mile hike and they didn't hurt my feet at all.

Not for wide foot
It's a good shoe, but it's not good for people with wide feet. I really tried to ignore the pain I was getting. I was thinking that it was because it was new but after three days of using them for six hours on those three days I would come home with pain, unfortunately I will have to exchange them for the ugly wide ones! HOKA please make hiking boots or high tops for wide feet thank you! I also ignored all the reviews about them being narrow so if you have wide feet, don't ignore this!

ran big for me
i've worn Hokas for years and have always been a 9 (i'm a true 8.5 but size up for exercise). these are too roomy for me but wore them on a muddy hike, so they're mine now. I have to wear think socks to make them work. other than that, i love them.

I would never buy this product again
Tongue was too short--very uncomfortable. First boot I've ever had to return because it hurt my foot out of the box. Hoka may be sliding.

I would buy this product again.
Wish there were more colors. I wear this for 12 hour shifts and they keep my feet feeling comfortable through the whole shift. I Love these shoes. I'm addicted to HOKA this makes my 10th pair. They're pretty much all I wear.

Love them
I've been prescribed Hoka plush shoes for my Sesamoiditis injury recovery, and I wanted a waterproof pair- so, here I am trying out the Kaha 2. My first pair for recovery was the Stinson 7's, which worked perfectly, and I can say my foot has greatly improved. I've worn them down though and they don't keep me dry in the rain, so...Back to the Kaha 2, I ended up ordering three different pairs before finding the right pair for me. I wore 8.5's (I'm normally an 8) in Stinson, but 8.5 in Kaha were too big. So, I ordered an 8, and they were great- except for the pain I got on the top of my left foot. I'd read some reviews complaining about this same issue, however, it was only one of the shoes in my situation, so I decided to try another pair of 8's and so far so good. No weird rubbing, just comfort and hopefully protection from the elements. While they don't seem to be quite as plush as the Stinson, I have been very pleased and comfortable. I don't lace them up all the way, so that I can slide my feet in and out, as I intend on them being my everyday shoes rather than for hiking alone. I'm so glad that I didn't give up, as the second pair of 8's seems to be my Goldilocks. Plus, I find the solid black option more appealing and versatile, so a little bonus there. Hoka, if you're listening, there's a market for people with foot injuries that would love to have your plush soles but as more casual and stylish shoes, just saying. I'm sure I'm not the only person who's willing to collaborate;).
