Why We Like The HOKA Gaviota 5 Shoe
Stable and stiff used to go hand-in-hand but HOKA's Gaviota 5 Shoe is changing the game. The updated H-Frame technology allows the use of plush foam to keep our foot from rolling too much inward or outward without forcing an unnatural gait. This reimagined stabilization keeps the ride light, plush, and agile, while the Early-Stage Meta Rocker keeps us sailing into quick transitions.

Great buy
Right out of the box they feel great. No break in needed. The cushion is great. Very comfortable didn't want to take them off.

Super comfortable
Not only are these super comfortable, the styling is outstanding. They actually make my feet look smaller (which is tough to do when you wear a size 13).

Wanted different color shoe lace, unable to get it
I wish I could have chosen a different color shoe lace as I tried to order another color shoe lace from Hoka and they would not sell me any.

Little nervous about online ordering
These new shoes were supposed to be the same as my old ones. Ordered same size and style. The new ones are wider and fit a little sloppy.

Amazing
I have not worn any other shoes since I first put on my new Hoka's. It's like walking on a supportive cloud!

Love this Model
Of my 6 pairs of Hoka's these are the most comfortable. Left over from Chemo, I still have neuropathy in my feet. I have found that Hokas are the best shoes and my new Gaviotas are the best yet!

Shape of shoe
They look like clown shoes , bozo shaped in the front But I have to wear them until I don't . I didn't realize the shape on line . Baggy in the front Good for crooked toes and webbed feet lol

Didn't last 3 months
They felt great in the store but after a couple of wears I realized I needed a lot more support than they provide. A new set of power step insoles solved that issue. I use these as walking shoes, clocking 1-2 miles on weekdays and 4-6 on weekends. After 3 months a good amount of the black sole is worn away so the soft cushioning foam is now the wear surface. Reading other reviews I'm surprised to read that others thought the toe box is too wide as I found it to be very snug. Maybe they bought wide? While I initially loved them(after insole replacement) I won't buy them again. At nearly $200, I can't afford to replace them every 2-3 months.

Almost Perfect!
These are extremely comfortable, wide toe box, shoes. I love everything about them except the upper material. It gets dirty very easily and you cannot scrub it too hard because the material pills. Not sure how to keep these clean. I have only had them for 3 weeks but they are looking rough. I hope newer iterations of this shoe fix this problem.

Outstanding.
The best pair of walking shoes I've ever had. My feet are in love as well as my knees and back.
