Sizing inconsistent
Having recently tried several new different styles of Hokas (after wearing several styles for a few years) I haven't been able to find a good fit. Some of the toe boxes are too narrow on te third and fourth toes, and too low. So disappointing. Others slip badly in the heel.

The shoe caused foot pain and Awful return process
I purchased two pairs of this shoe because initially I thought they fit great. The first pair, which I will still keep, started causing some pain on the outside of my little toe after a week of wear. Aside from that I liked it, but I decided to return the unused backup pair. Somehow the return label process doesn't work (I just did another return for my husbands sneakers no problem this week) and I cannot print the label. After going in twice to try and generate it again their site has now blocked me. So don't plan on a smooth return process if your shoes don't fit. :/

Beautiful, but absolutely murdered my feet.
I was completely in love with these shoes, until I put them on and went out for a brief walk / hike. Absolutely killed my feet and ended up with blisters on my heels. I returned them literally the day after. It's a shame because I was completely in love with them at first glance. Definitely size up, and if you have a wider foot, steer clear.

I had to return these shoes.
These shoes were advertised as step in shoes, they aren't, I was very disappointed.

Color not as shown!
I had to return my shoes for a half size larger. I've never worn a 9.5 size shoe. I like the shoe except the color is not the color shown. On email it looks like a brown leather. It looks more like a pink color. I don't care for the color as I thought it was a brown!!!

Love these shoes!
These are fantastic - super comfortable and super easy to slip on and stay on!

could not be more impressed
Bought these for a road trip through three national parks. I only wore them for about an hour ahead of the trip to break them in. Didn't need a breaking in period at all! These shoes were very comfortable, had no pain, blisters, or anything when without a breaking in period. Provided great stability on rocky and uneven trails in the mountain. The traction was great and felt super grippy. I also enjoy how light the shoes are - makes the longer hikes that much more enjoyable. Can't wait to wear these on more hikes! Only complaint is the integrated tongue. Wish it had more give to loosen the laces as the top of the shoe felt a bit tight at time.

I wanted so much to like these!
While the step in function is great, the stitched down tongue is NOT. The ridge that the stitching forms hits over the instep and causes pressure pain within an hour of putting them on, walking or not. I loved the high heel support but just can't wear these! Not comfortable .

Sizing and Fit are way off
I bought the Anacapa Freedom in a size 8 for my wife based on the fact that she has several pairs of Bondi in size 8. When she received the Anacapa Freedoms (free expedited shipping! Thank you Hoka!) they were too short with her toes butting up against the end of the shoe I initiated an exchange (Free exchanges! Thank you, Hoka!) for a size 8.5. When we received the new pair of 8.5, they were still too short for my wife. Her toes were still touching the end of the toebox. Determined to try to make them work she walked around the house for a few minutes to get used to them. The toe box is on the bigger side so she had to cinch the shoes tight which then prevented her from sliding the shoes on and off as they were designed to do. We are returning the shoes (Free returns! Thank you Hoka!) I wanted my wife to have a versatile travel shoe that can help speed things through at airport security. But for my wife, they just did not work and the sizing was way off. Thank goodness for Hoka customer service!! We'll stick with the Bondi.

True to size
Really cute and love the color and style-wear a 6.5 in the Transport and initially ordered this in 6.5 but 7 fits best in this style.
