Conditions can get pretty burly on Mount Washington, so when the estimated high temps for the day are below freezing, make sure you pack your Hestra Morrison Pro Model 3-Finger Gloves. Designed by the man himself, these gloves were built for keeping you ultra warm and dry, and blasting you through bitter cold conditions so you can enjoy the ride rather than focusing on your potentially frostbitten phalanges.
Crafted for maximum protection and warmth, these gloves feature a three-finger design and a hybrid leather upper, complete with waterproofed cowhide, while the weather-resistant CZone membrane keeps the external elements by the wayside. The Thermolite synthetic insulation keeps your hands cozy warm in both preferred and rusty-wet conditions. And, to boot, the external windproof zippers and Hestra handcuffs makes for easy-on, easy-off.

incredible cold weather glove
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I use these on the coldest days and they are holding up really well. REally impressed with some -20 degree days (with wind chill) and not being cold, while still pretty dextrous
Amazing quality. Best glove I've owned.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Been wanting these for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger when they went on sale. Was stuck between choosing gloves or mittens and decided to go with the best of both worlds with these 3 finger. The quality on these are top of the line. Comfort level is 10 plus. Excited to put it to good use. Backcountry shipped them lighting fast with two day free shipping. Very happy! #goatworthy
Ski like Seth!

It's been cold here in Utah this winter so I ordered these for the Mrs. They were too big for her so I decided to keep them for myself they are so comfortable and super warm. These are now my go-to cold weather gloves.
Excellent and warm glove
My only complaint would be the necessity of waterproofing every couple of months. Workmanship, build and quality are all top notch.
They are the best
They are so warm and they aren't big and bulky. U can throw them in your pocket with ease. The leather is really durable and doesn't get wet easily.
Custom fit with pro level steeze
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These are my new favorite gloves and now i know why people get excited about recommending them.
The standout features to me on this glove where the minimalist cuff, snot wipe, index finger reinforcement and the insulation. I needed a glove that would fit under my jacket sleeves and these did well without forcing me to fight the jacket to get it the sleeve over the glove. The snot wipe was super handy (pun intended) and some of the more expensive gloves don't have snot wipe so it is one of the reasons I committed to this model. If you where wondering how the turtle glove style (three finger) feels I would say it takes some getting used to but now that I have them all my future gloves will by in this style. The reversed seems on this glove (seems are facing out instead of inside the glove) are really helpful for delicate tasks like grabbing zippers or adjusting my boots. The leather used with this brand is a high quality so you will experience a little bit of stretching and conforming to your natural hand shape, but that makes for a way better fit once they are broken in. When I received them they where a nice dark black color and the leather was very smooth and soft unlike the photo on the site so check the photo posted to see how fresh the glove looks in person. These gloves are also not very bulky in general which can be a huge plus over clunky mitts.
Overall these gloves look good, feel good, and are warm enough for all but the coldest temps . I am now an official member of the Hestra glove club, and now I recommend the brand any chance I get.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
This is a fantastic glove for a few reasons:
1 - This glove is low profile, but still really warm.
2 - The trigger finger allows you to maintain a high level of dexterity. Huge plus over mittens.
3 - Hestra's goatskin leather gloves are quite durable.
The only issue I ran into is that these gloves ran slightly small. Consider sizing up if you are on the cusp of sizes.
