High quality softshell

Lots of nice features in the jacket, very solid construction, and plush soft shell material. Sizing a little bulky for me as someone with a slimmer runner's build. Overall, felt it was a bit too heavy for my everyday backcountry workhorse. Returned this and kept the Patagonia Stormstride Jacket, which checks in a full 9oz lighter without being flimsy. Also, didn't like the somewhat small side zip vents vs. full pit zips.

Look no further!
I'm really amazed by the quality of this shell. It's burlier than I was expecting, and the green color looks sick too. I did go for the medium size after reading the reviews of people who usually wear large that got mediums. Good call, the medium fits perfect with layers.

Nice jacket but...
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- S

- Weight:
- 140
It's pretty decent jacket and I like it overall... As a shell jacket, it protects me from wind and moisture pretty well as advertised. But like others indicated, the size and design of the size are a little odd. I know I'm slim runners built (5'10'' and 140lbs) and wear S size from TNF summit series shell jacket, but this one feels much bigger especially around chest/shoulder area. The good thing is I can wear even with thick fleece jacket when riding colder days. Comparing with my go to shell jacket (TNF), it feels a little heavier too. It does not have the pocket for my pass like all other jackets have. It does not have powder skirt inside either. Maybe because it's for BC purposes, but I don't think it's hard to make them for convenience.
