Why We Like The Helly Hansen Powchaser 2.0 Jacket
The Helly Hansen Powchaser 2.0 Jacket pretty much has it all—protection, freedom of movement, comfort, and ski-specific features. That starts with the waterproof and breathable Helly Tech shell and finishes with warm but lightweight PrimaLoft Black Eco insulation, which provides similar warmth and packability to down while insulating even when wet. It features 2-way stretch with articulated sleeves for more ability and provides ventilation zippers and plenty of adjustability to secure our perfect fit. Finally, Helly stacked this jacket with a helmet-compatible hood, adjustable powder skirt, a check pocket with goggle wipe, and pass pocket on the sleeve to keep everything ski- and snowboard-friendly. With all these technical fabrics and features, the Powchaser plays well everywhere from the resort to the backcountry.

Nice jacket, wrong fit for me.

I bought this jacket in hopes of having some great new outerwear for skiing, but ended up returning this jacket. It seemed like it would be warm and comfortable, but I never wore it outside so I can't confirm. There was plenty of room and felt like layering would not be a problem. Ultimately the fit of this jacket just didn't suit me. The sleeves were way too long on me. A slightly longer sleeve is something I'm used to since I'm short (5'5") but stocky in build (Size 12, 180 lbs) and generally require an XL jacket, but the sleeves on this jacket felt exceptionally long. I bought it it two colors and found the same with both jackets. It also fanned out at the bottom, giving it a bell bottom type of look. I used the cords at the bottom of the jacket to draw it in a bit so that it looked a bit more normal. I wanted to love it, but ultimately ended up returning it due to the fit in hopes I'd find a jacket that fit my arm length better. (I did end up with another HH jacket that fit me better) Giving it 4 stars because it seemed great - just not for someone with my proportions :-). Hope this helps someone else!

Nice, but "relaxed" cut
The materials and colors are very nice and it is a high-quality jacket. Unfortunately, it does not fit because it has a "relaxed" cut and the person I got it for is too thin. I had to return it.

SO Close to perfect

I wanted to like this coat, but it just wasn't what I personally was looking for. The insulation was great, sizing was True to Size, however at the bottom of the coat, it had only what I could describe as a bell-bottom fit. It flared out at the bottom, and that just isn't my cup of tea. I did end up returning the coat, the colors are beautiful!
