These are comfortable and do a great job keeping your neck warm. Either in cooler weather to provide some protection, or in really cold weather in conjunction with a hood. It fills up the gaps between your neck and the hood/neck covering and helps keep your warmth. Only downside, the color of mine is very faded/pale. More like a light blue and teal. It works, but isn't a color I would normally choose.

Great neck warmer. I got it in pink and love the color.

Great face warmer

Love this as a neck or face warmer while skiing. Fits like a typical buff brand warmer, but with a classier design.

I come from the ski racing side of the winter microcosm and when we would strip down to our race suits in below zero weather, the layer I shed that I felt most severely was the neck warmer- and this applies even more so in the backcountry or powder skiing. You lose a copious amount of heat through your head and neck area so I wear a helmet (for heat is one reason) and a neck warmer. This is a light variety so you won't feel like it is a neck brace and it allows you to breath easily through it, and as for keeping you warmer it makes a world of difference. I wear it no matter the weather. On cold days it gets tucked under my goggles bandito style, and even on warm days I tend to wear it up as sun and wind protection. Skiing wreaks havok on your skin and this neckie has saved me from resembling a leather handbag (for at least a few more years.). I wear it skiing and hiking as well, it often becomes a headband, skull cap, and handkerchief all in one adventure!

Must Have Piece of Gear

Having a neck warmer is must have these days. They literally weight about 1 ounce, fit into any pocket easily, and have tons of uses. The best use is to put this around your neck as a gasket to trap heat from escaping from the collar of you jacket. It's NUTS how much warmer you can be just from throwing on this neck warmer. Nuts. You can also modify this use by pulling it up over your mouth, nose, and cheeks to keep you warmer and drier in a nasty wind or storm. These are especially great for skiing as you can constantly adjust how you wear it and keep the snow and wind from ever touching your face. You can also wear these on sunny days in the same fashion over your face to keep the sun from burning your beautiful face. These neck warmers are also great for cleaning sunglasses, and camera lens, wearing as a hat, there are literally hundreds of uses for these. Make sure you have one of these if you're a skier or rider.

A Staple

Familiarity:

These neck warmers are a staple in my kit. I use them ALL the time, skiing, running, fly, or anything else in the mountains. So simple and so efficient. These are not the wool kind, so they aren't expected to bring great warmth, but they do provide a great sheild against the elements when it is windy or when you are working hard and it is cold out (you don't get too sweaty).
