Easy set up!!!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is no different than setting up a reg Helinox cot. I set this up in a minute. I believe the other reviewers who stated it was difficult to set up or that they had to stretch the fabric never owned a Helinox cot previously? If it's your first time setting up, I suggest you watch a YouTube video first? Putting the legs could be tricky first time around? However, there is no need to stretch out the cot fabric lol. Set up and take down should take no longer than a couple mins once you get the hang of how the legs attach.

Used this at our Dock Diving event. Worked out great! Water drains right through it. Easy to put together. Compact and well made. Rottweiler loves it!!

Works Great, High Quality, Easy setup

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I have to assume the design has been updated since the previous reviews because it is VERY easy to assemble. My 8 year old likes to do it. Either they ADDED a hole at the end to make it super easy to slide the rods in OR the previous posters didn't know the hole was there. Seriously, it takes probably 1 minute to build. No wrestling to get the rod in whatsoever. So easy. And there are rubber feet you stick to the bottom, so it doesn't slide around our hard floors, either. Anyway, as far as the actual product, it's very high quality, and very light and packs up small. We use it daily, plus pack it for camping trips, etc. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Initial Setup is Difficult

After 30 minutes of trying to stretch fabric over the rods I decided to leave the cot fabric on the concrete in the sun to heat up, no luck. Then in the dryer on warm for twenty minutes, no luck. Then used a set of chopsticks as leverage through the end of the fabric to stretch over the rod and that worked great. Haven?t taken apart yet because I want the dog to stretch out the fabric so it will assemble easier next use.

Dog Cot difficult to Set-Up

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

This was a good idea that was poorly excuted on one aspect of the design. The side rails are so stiff there is little to no flex thus allowing for their insertion into the nylon sleeves connected to the mesh bed. (I tried for over twenty minutes and I have a number of their products and I am use to the typical assembly streching and or flexing of components!!) Setting up this dog elevated bed should be easy when plenty of dog mats are on the market that layout quickly. I hope they can use this reveiw to consider adjusting the design of these side rails such as adding a CAM mechanism which they have for the supporting legs.
