Great for the trunk packing kbox

I've put it through the wringer

Love the portability of this piece with the folding handle. It is sturdy enough- gets the job done. Not suuuuper sturdy- but sturdy enough.

High Quality But A Little Big

I have a few of these pivot utensils to pack in my backpacking cookwear. I like them each because they are very sturdy and compact. The spoon however is really deep. It does have some nice measurements inside of the lip but its uncomfortable for me to fit in my mouth. Great for stirring, bad for eating, say, soup. This also makes it a little tough to pack in an ultralite setup. Handle length cant be beat though.

The only utensil i bring along

I've put it through the wringer

I love this spoon. Folds nicely and its literally the only utensil I bring along when I go backpacking.

Small and Compact

I ordered some camping utensils for our family and this utensil was very small. It seems sturdy but would not work for serving family portions. It will work great for a one or two person backpacking trip. In fact, I have decided to keep the utensil for just that. Again, it is small and is compact but it should work great for my backpacking trips and won't take up much room in my pack.

Perfect Pivot Spoon

I've put it through the wringer

I love the pivot on this spoon, it compacts down super easy and stays in place. The spoon is light-weight so it's perfect for long trips out on the trail. I use this spoon almost every weekend and it's very durable, it will last a few years. Perfect cooking and serving spoon. The spoon is made with a high-temperature nylon so it' won't melt!

Soup's On

I've put it through the wringer

This spoon is lightweight. So lightweight you appreciate its lack of gravity pull. The handle folds so that it is a miniscule package in your kit. The base of the spoon when used to cook up a mess of eggs or soup is a real chore reduction utensil. It holds a significant amount of product when stirring and the same large amount if serving out of a cooking container to several people. It stops arguments and hurt feelings as it has built in measuring marks ensuring everyone has a fair share. I really like this spoon. If you choose to buy this spoon, I think you will realize you have made a good decision. Bon Appetite, Appetire, oh hell, good eating.

Excellent Design

This product has an excellent design with its folding handle. one downsize is that it can bend under weight of chilli or stew but that is due to its plastic construction due to weight saving. the measuring cup is innovated to say the least. worth buying considering the price and how much you could use it.

non-stick friendly

I like the pivot design, the durable construction and real utensil feel. The plastic won't damage non-stick coatings, and the bowl of the spoon is large enough to serve as a ladle in a pinch.

Finally a lightweight collapsible spoon for getting the last morsels out of your freeze dried food pouch without spending hours after, trying to get those last morsels from under your fingernails
