Why We Like The Deviation 6in Ankle Boot

Designed to hold up both on and off the water, the Deviation 6in Ankle Boot is one of our favorite options for comfortable, performance-driven footwear on fishing days. A completely waterproof construction keeps our feet happily dry by the water, while the non-marking lugged rubber outsole uses razor siping to easily shed mud and debris while gripping slippery surfaces with ease. Plus, we appreciate Grunden prioritizing a thicker insole to absorb shock from rocky riverbeds.

Wow

Was in the local Chandler looking for shore boots. Never were my full boots. While trying all the brands these seemed just built better. I’m using these for sailing and theses seemed overkill. Then I walked around and forgot these were boots. I walked in in very comfortable sailing runners and these “fishing boots” felt better on my feet. I’m a disabled veteran and walk with a Cain an heavily rely on proper footwear for each situation. These boots are nice wow. I obviously liked them as I paid for them. Sailing another 500miles till home. Will report back with time in the swell on the lean.

.

fantastic fit and quality! I can walk long distances in the tundra and the shoe/boot works well...the traction was the reason I bought it (instead of Xtratuf)

Nice Boot

Nice boot I wear them everyday pressure washing. I can get about 6 or 7 months out of pair before they start leaking other brands I was getting about 3 months.

Really nice a bit heavy

They seem to be supportive if you have problematic feet. A bit heavier than I thought but still comfortable

Time will Tell

Easily slip on. Don’t feel like I will walk out of them. Real proof will be how they hold up in some salt water, on the mud flats and getting on and off the boat. Reviews should be a year after the purchase after the product has been tested by the customer.

Perfect short boot with real traction.

These boots are perfect if you want a comfortable rubber boot with a real sole. I have a gentleman's farm, its wet and muddy almost all time, especially in the am. I needed a good shorty that had actual traction vs most of these types of boots which have a "boat sole" aka nearly flat bottom. These are amazing, and unbelievably comfortable. I wear them out walking every morning to take care of chickens etc.

Needs half sizes!

Did not work for my husband due to lack of half sizing. He also didn’t like that the heel collapsed when he was putting the boot on. The color was nice and it appeared to be well made.
