Why We Like The Deva 60L Backpack
The Deva is the most customizable pack Gregory has ever created. With the hipbelt padding and torso length dialed in, this pack feels like an extension of self as we conquer demanding terrain. The Free Float suspension system features hipbelt flex panels that absorb shock and movement, giving us a stable, dynamic carry, while the rotating shoulder straps automatically adjust, letting the airy mesh foam sit just where we need it to. Not only does this design reduce the impact of our heavy load, but it also reduces its impact on the environment, diminishing its carbon footprint by 30% compared to standard nylon packs.

love the layout
I've taken this pack on multiple multi-day backpacking trips and I always carry 15-20 lbs of photography gear and I can barely feel that weight! Also straps are compatible with PD camera clip + you can use all the pockets on the sides/top for quick access to multiple lenses.

Works well for long-term backpacking
I went on a 12-day backpacking trek with my 14-year old daughter last summer. She was 5’ tall and 100#’s. I was worried she wouldn’t be able to carry all her own gear so I upsized the pack I’d been using for 15-years to this Gregory Deva. I liked that it had exterior pockets. My older pack has nice size pockets and I really appreciate the way they help me organize everything, especially in bear country where you need to know where your smellables are for efficient, effective removal to bear bags. The pockets on the Deva are situated differently on the pack, which does affect how much I can put in them. It also makes it a little harder to have a hiking partner remove things because they’re a little hard to find. But they’re there and noticeably missing on most packs these days to save weight. The Deva fit well to my body, held my hydration bladder well, and carried the load well. I recommend if you need a large pack.

Awesome Backpack
Awesome pack, just got back from a 5 day hike in the Sawtooth Wilderness where my wife hiked with it for 5 days. It performed flawlessly, she loved it. Which is saying something considering she had never done anything close to what she accomplished up and down the Sawtooth Mountains. Very lightweight, durable, and comfortable.

Great pack!
I used this pack on a 4 day backpacking trip and it was perfect! The side water bottle pocket made it easy to stay hydrated. The adjustable back length made it easy to adjust and fit a variety of different sizes. Fit a tent, large bear can, sleep system, and other essentials no problem. Would recommend for sure!

Solid Backpack
Used this bag on a spring backpacking trip in the smokey mountains. Great pockets and multiple access points for the main compartment. Held my northface one bag sleeping bag, a GSI pan/pot set, a two person tent, propane/stove, sleeping pad, and food for 4 days. It also has handy hip pockets- one for your phone and one for your beer.

Amazing bag!
The bag is simply amazing. Every section and part seems to have been well thought of. From how the zippers are shaped to how the bag opens up. The experience of using this bag is simply top notch.

No Complaints Whatsoever
I had the previous version, which I loved, but this 2022 model fixed my 2 biggest complaints of the previous version: the waist belt pockets are now big enough for a large smartphone, and the side water bottle pocket has been redesigned to work flawlessly. The new version does *not* include the daypack and rain cover, but that was not a deal breaker considering the 2 major improvements. It's easy enough to purchase a rain cover, and the old daypack was not comfortable if you had to carry a full load of water on a dry trail. For day hikes while on a backpacking trip I just use the DEVA and cinch down all the straps. It's a super easy and comfortable carry bringing anything and everything you could possibly want during a day trip. I've used the new DEVA 60 on 4 multiday backpacking trips, and it's worked out great. I enjoy all the organizational pockets, which I use exactly the same every time, so I always know where everything is located. I keep my first aid kit and hygiene kit in the brain for easy access. I keep my down puffy and hard shell in each of the outer long vertical pockets. I just roll them up tightly like a big sausage, and they fit perfectly and are really accessible. I keep the hard shell on the right; "R" for rain jacket helps me always remember which later is in which pocket. My friend got the exact same backpack and after a trip we both agreed it was an excellent pack and super comfortable due to the suspension system and all the adjustability. Neither one of us had any soreness, hot spots, or aches, and our backs felt great! My base weight is 11 to 12 lb, so with food and full water it's anywhere from 22-30 lbs. Since the pack is designed for a maximum of 50 lbs. the carry is super easy. I actually compared a full loadout to two other top rated ultralight packs, and since a full load is pushing maximum on those packs, they were quite uncomfortable in comparison to the DEVA 60. My logic is carry a few extra pounds in a pack that carries a load well rather than go with an ultralight pack where you're pushing the limits.

This Diva took me to the roof oF Africa
I had an opportunity to try this backpack when they came in, and I took this backpack to summit mt. Kilimanjaro and I used it for a whole month while in Africa. I fell in love with the color. This is an excellent pack for all adventures, but I was able to enjoy it on an 8 days trip in Tanzania and summited Kilimanjaro with success. I had no issues with the Diva, and I highly recommend it.
