The largest pack in Gregory's bike-specific line, the Amasa 14L Backpack is designed to help you take on longer rides with little to no support. It has enough space for an extra layer, plenty of water and food, plus the tools, tubes, and other gear you need to ensure you keep rolling. The Shift RS Suspension system lifts the load, and adjusts the hip belt vertically for a customized fit for your torso. Matrix Ventilation Technology uses foam and mesh to lift the pack off of your back, ensuring airflow between you and the back panel.

Perfect Day Waterpack
We bike 17 miles through Zion and hiked Angels Landing a few weeks ago with this pack. We took up Vernal Falls via Mist trail this week and it kept our stuff dry. The water bladder is perfect for a short/small day hike. You’re able to fit snacks, light rain pants and personal belongings. The lumbar support did its job. You’re able to set it to your own size.

Older version was perfect!
I have an older version of this pack, and it's my go-to mountain biking pack. I love the sunglasses holder on the strap, as well as the pockets on the hip belt- which I've heard is no longer included on the new version, a real bummer! I don't see why they would take it away, they were perfect for snacks/chapstick/a small phone, etc. The stretchy pocket on the outside is great for stowing gloves and light things, and the tool organizer is really nice for keeping things organized. The internal pockets also help keep things organized. This easily fits a mini pump, my tool kit (packed pretty full), a small first aid kit, jacket, snacks, phone, keys, etc and more if you pack well. Expands a bit when needed but feels great when it's only half full too. The 3L water bladder mine has is also great, so I can fill it as much as I expect to need based on the ride, and the design makes it easy to dry between rides too.

Great pack - love the hip belt but no pocket
I didnt notice that the amasa didn’t have a hip belt pocket like the Avos so that is my only regret. I definitely love this over other brand choices I had looked into. For me 14 or 15L is a great size because it is flexible if I might need extra water, stow a jacket, doing trail digging and want to stow my pads, extra snacks. I feel like this bag is still big enough to go on all day hikes but small enough for me to ride with it super comfortably.

Super comfortable
I bought this pack for my wife who wanted to get back into hiking. The pack fit her well and she loved how comfortable it was. She loaded it down to really test her tolerance on a long hike and the pack performed well. She liked the way it rode on her hips and how it did not dig into her shoulders. She was impressed with the quality of construction and felt the pack was the perfect size for where she is at now. Overall, very happy with this purchase. Thanks.

Features built to withstand hot sweaty sessions
This is such a comfortable pack. The features are beautiful and really make you appreciate the design team at Gregory. The pack helps keep my back from being soaked with sweat. The easy to use water bladder helps me hydrate better during rides. My non mtbing friends want to buy and use it for regular day hiking which I also recommend!

Horrible Design: do NOT buy
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Do not purchase unless you wear a Small or XSmall tee shirts. If you are not super small, the padded part of the strap will only go over your shoulder. What that means is under your armpit is the super thin webbing. While riding all day or hiking it will rub your armpit raw. Horrible design. Do not buy.

Great pack
This is an amazing little pack . It’s easy to use and fits me very well. It seems to be made of high quality materials and is well constructed. Everything is functioning as it should.

Would love side pockets!
This is a great bag! It comes with a hydration bladder (the water has a bit of a weird taste at first -- but this is my experience with all hydration bladders) that fits into the bag nicely. I usually end up using the bag without the hydration bladder as I find it takes up space I'd like to use for other things. I took this bag abroad in late 2019 and loved the versatile use as a day bag. The pockets are nice (I stored my passport in the hydration sleeve for safe keeping), but a great addition would be water bottle side pockets. We ended up attaching water bottles to the side of the pack via clipping the water bottle carrying loops to the side buckles, but this did cause some issues when the water bottles were full.

Does this bag can fit in the "Personal Article" for airplanes Carry-On with the max size of 17in x 13in x 6in if not completely full ?

Is there any way to buy replacement parts? I love this pack but I recently noticed that the plastic piece that secures the female buckle on the stretch pocket is missing and am concerned that it will completely fall off without me noticing.
