Why We Like The UltraPress Purifier Bottle
The award-winning UltraPress Purifier Bottle simplifies the filtration process, giving us pure, soul-quenching H2O in mere seconds. We just fill the outer bottle, give the cap a half turn (to vent air without risking contamination), and press the inner bottle back inside. Seriously, that's it. The ultra-powered activated carbon does all the hard work, letting us sit back and reap the reward.

India, here I come!
I purchased this item while it was on-sale for a 2025 trip to India and Nepal. I'd like to avoid "Delhi belly" as well as all the rest of the microbes! Wish me luck!

Filtration Excellence for Urban EDC and Travel
I have had and used the larger Geopress for several years and it was my primary water filtration method prior to purchasing my Berkey home filtration system. We have had PFAS contamination here on Cape Cod, MA and both systems address that. My Geopresses (I have 2) now travel with other emergency equipment in the spare tire compartments of our vehicles. I wanted something smaller to carry in my small (13 liter) day bag for daily use in my home town and while traveling. The Ultrapress fills that role very well. I particularly like it’s smaller size and the new one-way filters which allow me to fill the Ultrapress from the top with filtered water from my Berkey while keeping the Ultrapress filter dry for emergency use. Highly recommended.

Sooo hard to push
I bought this knowing it was slightly harder to push, but it was much harder than I thought. Even while using my entire body strength I could barely close the bottle to filter the water. I tried using it for everyday use, but it barely changed the taste of the water. I think I’ll just buy a water purifier and pour it into another bottle.

16.9 oz Ultra Press
This is just the right size to fit in a water bottle pouch on your back pack. I have one from Midway that the filter fits perfect. You can carry water in it and just refill when needed or when you come to a water source. This is just the right size for one person or a group of three or so for day trips.

Absolute necessity for Half Dome
We hiked Half Dome in early June and it was in the mid 80’s. Even though we had our water bags full of 2 liters each it wasn’t enough. Luckily there were fresh rivers and streams and the Grayl became a life saver. Not just for us but random strangers who were in need of water as well. They were so grateful and impressed on how good the water was they said they were going to buy one for themselves. In order of absolute necessity on a long hike, #1 Grayl, #2 footwear.

Updated 16.9 oz Water purifier
I bought this to replace my first generation Grayl purifier, much easier to drink out of the smaller spout. This is the 3rd Grayl I have purchased and will only trust my water purification needs to Grayl! Love these products!

Way Better Than A LifeStraw
Love the product, wish it came in camo colors. Website could explain the comparisons between the filter types and press types alot better....maybe a comparison chart. Other than that, I love the products!!!

Great product and service...
Fantastic products. The Ultrapress’s handy size fits all my systems and has become my favorite water filtration gear for its ease of use and purity. I use both the Geopress and Ultrapress in a multitude of outdoor situations. Thanks for the innovation...

Not as easy to use as it looks
If you have arthritic hands, this will be difficult to use. You need a decent amount of strength to push it down as well as take it apart to clean. Lot of work for little water. It’s impossible to get the last bit of water out of the cup without removing the filter. This makes the capacity even less. I would not buy again.

Works amazingly. Use it when
Works amazingly. Use it when we stay in a hotel. Filter the water out of the sink for making coffee.
