Berkey vs Geopress
I own a Berkey Sport and now a Grayle Geopress. Both have their pros and cons. The berkey offers a great filter and it’s very light and portable. The filter also lasts a long time. However, it seems to leak and the water is somewhat difficult to suck through the straw as this is how it is filtered. The Grayle is a larger and sturdier bottle. Maybe not quite as portable or light as the Berkey, but a great camping option due to its water storage capacity. You use it like a French press. The pressing is physically demanding, but it’s one and done. As for what comes out the other side of the filter, the taste is undeniable with the Berkey, but more especially with the Grayle. Best water I ever tasted.

Taste makes the difference
I’ve bought cases of bottled water for years. Sorry to the environment. I couldn’t stand the taste of Texas water. I finally purchased an in home water Softner & purifier. I purchase the Grayl for my planned International trip. I tested it & compared my water purifier & the Grayl Geopress. The taste makes a huge difference. Now want the other Grayl products.

Overall, good!
This is my second purchase of this product — I liked the first one so much! Fast. Easy. Convenient. Filters out just about everything. Decent size considering it is both a water bottle and filter. Tough construction. High visibility. Two caveats: (1) This works best with continuous and/or abundant water availability. Great for river trips or trails with frequent access to fresh water. (2) Best for one person. Doable, but difficult to purify large volumes (multiple liters) for groups or to stock up for long distances between water sources. Taking these things into account, buy with confidence! To expand filter life and water purification options, strongly consider purchasing a millbank bag and a nesting cup.

Great Bottle
This was my first filtering water bottle purchase. I learned life straw has a version also and there are positives and negatives of both. Great thing about this one is ability to separate compartments for cross contamination. Convenient. Downside is it only holds 24 ounces and is expensive. Other than that have not had it long enough to know for sure

Geo press
Bought our first 2 Geo presses in 2020. Use them every week, on our gold claims. Filters are easy to change. I will feature them on my utube channel.

Solid piece of equipment
This seems like a well built piece of equipment. I was impressed by how solid it is. I've filtered a few containers of water now for 3 different sources and happy with the results. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up over extended use and time.

Good overall
So I bought this to take overseas and I’m glad I did. I’ve been filtering water for a week now and I like the unit overall. I don’t really enjoy pressing the water through as it is a process. But it works. Overall good buy. I would recommend.

It’s money! Water is life!
Super handy and effective. It’s proven to be an excellent tool for me here in Alaska. Looking forward to hunting season in Montana with this water purification system.

Great product
So far I haven’t been able to use it more in the hunting/fishing/hiking setting which I’m hoping to do soon…But, using it right now for travel/EDC it’s been awesome, plus just having some peace of mind in those “just in case” scenarios having this thing helps tremendously
