Go with your US size

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit:
Runs small

The only part of the size chart you should pay attention to are the first two columns. I made the mistake of ordering my size based on my foot measurement in mm, which gave me a slipper whose toe box brushed right up against my feet. Weird, since on that chart the measurement corresponds with my typical EU size. Exchanging those for the next size up, Glerups' equivalent to my typical US shoe size, was the better way to go-- the slippers are as cozy and comfy as everyone has already said. It's puzzling why Glerups converts their EU sizes to a smaller US size than most other shoe brands. An EU 46 should convert to a 13, but Glerups for some reason sizes their 46s to fit a 12. But yeah, go with the Glerups equivalent to your US size and disregard everything else and the comfort shall be yours.

I wear a size 10 ½ shoe, so I ordered the 44. Barefoot, they fit perfectly, with some wiggle room, which is desireable for warmth. I could probably wear a medium weight sock with them if I wanted to. I was reluctant to spend this much money for a slipper, but I'm glad I did. No more cold feet!

After a few chilly nights in my car, I got these to lounge in. They are AWESOME! I even slept with them on. Chris was probably right about down sizing, but I have a hard time getting in and out of my street size as it is. I'm going to modify mine with laces or elastic when they stretch.

These are a go to for winter days around the ski house. Super durable and comfortable. Snag a smaller size because the wool will stretch and break-in a bit.

I bought these slippers as a gift for a friend and she is so happy with them. She's a big fan of red, so of course she loves the color, and she says they are the most comfortable pair of slippers she's ever owned.

So far... I am in love

I went back and forth on ordering these slippers for months because of the price but I finally pulled the trigger—and just in time for another nor’easter! So far, I am in love with them. These slippers are super comfortable, the don’t slip off my feet, the soles aren’t slippery on my wood floors, they don’t make noise when I walk in them (noisy slippers are a pet peeve of mine), and MOST importantly, my feet are finally WARM! I normally wear a size 7 (though I have been noticing 7.5 fits better sometimes, now that I’m over 40) and I ordered them in a 38.

When I walk in the door at home I slip off whatever I'm wearing and slide into these bad boys. These are the most comfy slippers I've ever owned and seem like they will last for an incredibly long time. They are super cozy and warm but surprisingly breathable, so my feet don't overheat or sweat. Worth the $ for sure!

The wool is smooth and keeps feet warm without overheating.. I normally wear a 46 Euro size but I had to exchange for next size up / 47. While the width of the 46 was great, my toes hit the end of the slipper. So far so good with these. I recommend this product.

I purchased a pair of red Glerups boot slippers two years ago. I have worn them almost every day for 10 months out of each year. Thy are still very warm and have a lot of life left in them. Initially, they do have some felted wool that comes off of them in clumps until you break them in. Not to worry. They do form to your feet after a few weeks of use and after a few months there is a definite impression of your foot that is permanent. After two years of what I would call heavy use, the thread reinforcement on one of the cut-outs is coming a bit loose, but is easily fixed with a needle and thread. One other very minor issue: the body of the slipper seems to be one piece of felted wool, formed to the shape of a boot. The calfskin is sewn on the bottom for the sole of the shoe. Then, an additional felted piece is what makes up the footbed inside the body of the slipper. This footbed is just now starting to come loose--again easily repairable--and livable even if you don't repair it. I do believe they sell separate soles/wool inserts for the shoes if you would like to swap them out. As I mentioned before, the wool does compress and form to the shape of your foot. The red color is beautiful and looks quite nice even 2 years later. I have washed them once or twice since I bought them. They do not smell at all. The sizing is accurate. I ordered a size 38. I typically wear a size 7.5. I size up for winter boots to an 8. There is no arch support in these slippers. You could perhaps add that and then purchase an additional wool liner from their website if you sized up. For myself, I find them very comfortable and they do conform to your foot. These keep my feet a comfortably warm temperature. I do have circulation issues with my feet and they are cold most months out of the year. Glerups have solved my cold foot problem for around the house and camping. I bought them for my mother-in-law last year and she loves them. This year I am buying them for several of the other women in my family as they have gained quite a bit of attention now that two of us have them! So it will be a very cozy Christmas :)

I wear these everywhere, every day. They feel like slippers but I get compliments on them all the time. They're very comfortable and look great with everything from jeans to leggings. I got the purple, and they seem to go well with everything. The fit is true to size. I wouldn't say I've put them through the wringer yet, but I wear them pretty much daily and so far, they're holding up well.

Love my glerups!

Living in northern Vermont means enduring long months of darkness and cold. Glerups are the best slipper I've ever owned, both in comfort and ease. I highly recommend them.

Finest House Shoes Money Can Buy

Gave my wife a pair of these and she absolutely loves them. Made from felted wool with a supple calfskin sole, these will only get softer and more comfortable over time as they form to your individual foot shape. Plus, the styling is undoubtedly Scandinavian. What's not to love.
