Low-key cycling shoe that was on sale!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought these to replace a stiffer pair of traditional MTB flat-pedal shoes that hurt one of my feet. These Giro Tracker shoes had been discussed on a social media channel I follow where the cyclist didn't understand why more people weren't using these for gravel-bike riding. The manufacturer describes them almost as a commuter shoe so people didn't seem to take them seriously. I got them on sale and they work great for me, although they are about a half size too large (I'm never quite sure which Euro size to pick so don't blame the shoe). The cyclist I follow online liked the roomier toe box, and so do I. He didn't care for the lack of adjustability in the boa system, and I can understand his point, but they still work fine for me. These were a good buy.
