The GRIP X2 damper is the centerpiece of that refinement, housing a wider 24mm base valve that allows lower operating pressures throughout the stroke alongside more than triple the valve count of the outgoing Grip 2 unit. The result is a damper with sharper sensitivity at the top of the travel and a tuning range wide enough to dial the fork precisely for different courses, conditions, and riding styles through four independent compression and rebound circuits. The FLOAT EVOL air spring delivers the mid-stroke support and progressive bottom-out resistance to match, while Kashima coating on the 38mm stanchions keeps friction at a minimum through long descents and repeated hard impacts. The Kabolt X floating axle and revised crown and arch geometry complete a Factory-tier build that is as light as it is stiff, giving 27.5in trail and enduro riders every tool they need to push the pace on the rowdiest terrain available.
