    Hike on.

The next time you head for cerulean blue glacial lakes and jagged alpine peaks, wrap your feet in the Forsake Patch Hiking Boot for a springy, cushioned trek. Pioneers of the "Sneakerboot," the mountain-loving craftsmen at Forsake create their boots to feel forgiving like your favorite pair of trainers but with subtle support that doesn't feel stiff or unyielding.

You'll still find all of the features of traditional hiking boots on the Patch, including a waterproof leather upper construction and waterproof membrane liner for days when the rain won't stop. The boots also include Forsake's Peak to Pavement outsole: an arrangement of lugs that lend stability and grip on a full range of surfaces. As the hours and miles tick by, the compression EVA midsole delivers a cushy, responsive ride, while the gusseted tongue prevents errant pieces of rock and gravel from interrupting your day.

    • "Sneakerboot" supports all of your peak-bagging adventures
    • Supportive boot shape with the cushioned feel of a sneaker
    • Waterproof leather upper yields to the shape of your foot
    • Lined with waterproof membrane for extra protection
    • Lugged outsole adapts to loose or smooth trail conditions
    • Gusseted tongue keeps gravel and water out

Great shoes, they do run large

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I ordered these and after some research on multiple sites, I decided to go a half size down. I'm almost always a 6.5 so I ordered a 6 and I'm sure glad i did!
These shoes are comfortable, waterproof and I get tons of compliments on them wherever I go. I highly recommended these boots. It's important to note that I'm using them more as everyday cruisers in Montana and NOT for long hikes.

    Sister Loves Em!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these for my sister for her birthday and she loves them. She lives in Colorado and has easy access to RMNP. She loves that these are a solid and supportive hiking boot, but also super stylish. She wears them not only on the mountain, but all over town, especially during the cold seasons. They truly are waterproof and stay really warm even in snow.

    I love these boots!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these before a road trip down the Oregon coast. It rained for about 10 days straight and my feet stayed dry. And they're comfy and stylin.

    Cute but not for hiking

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got these in a size 6.5 to use as a winter hiking boot. I'm a very consistent size 6.5 in most brands. Although my feet tend to be too narrow for most hiking and athletic shoes, these are ridiculously wide. My feet still move around way too much to hike in these even with my thickest socks. I ended up keeping them because they are so cute and I get compliments on them all the time, but they're a bit pricy as a casual around town boot. I'd only recommend these if you have super wide feet or don't plan on hiking in them.

    Functional and Stylish

I just got these boots and love wearing them! They look way more fashionable and cute than the other hiking boots on market that are big and clunky. I don't feel awkward running errands or even running to the office with them still on after a hike. The details are great and super unique.

This is a follow up review from my previous review I wrote. I took my Foresake boots out hiking in UT mid-winter just after we got 15" of new snow! I figured this would be the best time to try out the boots and see how waterproof they actually are. To my pleasant surprise, they are 100% waterproof! I was trudging through deep snow (past the top of the boot itself) and I stayed 100% dry and 100% warm! I'm so surprised with the quality of these shoes! WOW! Highly, highly recommend!

So I just got these shoes because i've needed new hiking boots (desperately) for a while now after some heavy use in Grand Teton Nation Park this last summer, and I decided to take a big leap from my trusty Merrills to these Foresakes. I'm pretty young (22) so the looks of these shoes appeal to me more so than the classic Merrill hiking boots. That's what grabbed my attention while I was searching on the site.. i'm stoked to start breaking these shoes in because the specs say these bad boys are waterproof (which is a must for me).

After first trying these shoes on (i'm size 7 and ordered size 7) my first initial impressions were....
they are quite roomy... I have narrow feet so I think these shoes will fit more true to size for someone who has wider feet. I wouldn't say these shoes run large because they feel quite comfortable on me, there is just some room to move around in... which for me is okay for now.... When I get out and hike though, especially on more aggressive terrain I plan to wear thicker hiking socks with these to fill up that space so my foot doesn't move around and so I can have more control.

One thing I really like about this boot is the tongue... the tongue is attached to the boot itself making it unable to stray from the front of the foot and ankle area. I've always found with high tops and in general, boots with "free tongues" they tend to wander to the side of my foot and side of my ankle area. For me it's super annoying and uncomfortable and I don't enjoy stopping my trek to adjust my clothes and shoes.
These shoes, I won't have that problem because the tongue is attached to the shoes allowing some but not much movement.

So far, I've only worn these shoes casually in UT in the winter time (on ice) and and found the grippy soles to hold up great! I feel confident walking around outside even when conditions are a bit sketchy.

I'll put an update out once I take these boots hiking!

      Comfortable and stylish!

I love these shoes! Bought a pair of the Patch hiking boots before my trip to Iceland. They were perfect for trekking through the rocky terrain! I got a ton of compliments on them and they held up great. Would highly recommend this versatile shoe!
