Why We Like The Flylow Lucy Jacket
Whether we're setting a skin track or hitting up the resort on a powder day, the Lucy Jacket does the job of keeping us dry and ventilated while we ski and snowboard. Its Stormshell Intuitive membrane protects against deep snow and maintains comfortable breathability for skiing the backcountry. A 3-layer construction keeps the shell lightweight and packable enough to stow away when the sun is out, and a host of features like a removable powder skirt and hem and hood adjustments improve this minimalist jacket's design.

Warm and breathable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Medium
This jacket is warmer than I expected. I am 5’11” 145lbs ordered a size medium and it works great. Great length in the sleeves. I layer with wool baselayer light fleece and a 60g synthetic puff and have been warm in as low as 20 degrees for skiing and I run cold. I’ve also just worn this shell with wool baselayer when touring and it is definitely holding heat in when you need it and you can open up pit zips to get better airflow. Doesn’t feel like any water will get through the outer shell. I love that the shell also has a little stretch to it. I also have a fly low Lucy jacket and got this one half way through the season and have been leaning for this one especially on milder days or days with any precipitation because it protects better against the elements.

Love this jacket!

I’m 125 lbs, 5’2”, 34D size for reference. This jacket fits my body perfectly. I can wear just a base layer or I have plenty of room for a thick mid layer for the cold days. The breast pocket is deep enough so the phone isn’t hitting my boob in a weird way. All of the pockets are deep and roomy in this jacket, so you can put super big gloves in your pocket when using the restroom and not worry about them falling out. There are a tons of pockets too!! It is super soft inside where I won’t mind wearing a T-shirt on warm days. There are also pit zippers which I know I need, and they have a mesh snow blocker so it doesn’t open too much. The hood has a drawstring all around the front side to easily cinch for the really cold windy days. I returned four other jackets before sticking with this one. I’m stoked to take it to Japan next year.

Very nice jacket... but very thin.

Jacket is well-built with pockets in the right places. Jacket breaths well and is comfortable. Only issue is thickness. I've had shells before but this one is closer to a raincoat than a shell. Great for those spring days on the slopes but get ready to layer up big time when the weather turns.

Love this jacket. Quality material & lining with a comfortable shell fit. Fits true to size for small build (5'7" 130 lb). The arm pass pocket is a huge plus and multi-tone colors are a fashionable plus. Recommend!
