First tracks and bootpacks.
It dumped overnight and you're waiting in line for first chair. Stoke is high but no matter how amped you are, your teeth are usually chattering by the time the lifts start spinning. Frosty powder mornings usually require an extra layer of down, and Flylow's Crowe Jacket is just the right amount.
Primaloft Eco insulation provides warmth without the bulk—a quick fix to toss under your shell on a storm day. Unlike down, synthetic insulation is water-resistant and breathable so you won't end up soaking wet when you decide to send it up a bootpack or sidestep around the backside. Lightweight and compressible, the Crowe is easy to pack down and stuff in the bottom of your pack when the weather can't make up its mind.

This is a nice jacket, and warm, but it runs a little loose. It's more of an outer layer than a mid layer.
