    Best jacket for splitboarding!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 115lbs

I've had it for 2 seasons now and it's tough as nails! It looks great and fits perfect with a puffy jacket as your mid-layer. If you are looking for an alpine-ready hard shell, look no further!

    Best jacket for splitboarding!

    Worth the money

I bought this coat with hesitation at full price thinking I’d return it if I didn’t love it. After wearing it a couple of times in pouring rain, I love it. It is well cut, pockets are good size and well placed, hood is thoughtfully designed, pit zips are large, and it kept me dry. I love the length, nice for sitting on wet ski lifts and for keeping snow out when I fall. On me the sleeves are too long but otherwise M fits great (5’5’’ 140 lbs).

      Bomber in the Pacific Northwet

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Large
      • Height: 5'9"
      • Weight: 165lbs

2 seasons in the Pacific Northwet in this jack and I love it! Keeps my nice and dry on deep pow days and on the "snain" (snow/rain) days. The hood fits well over a helmet and still allows for some peripheral vision and lateral head movement. It's also the first women's jacket that I ever had that is long enough. Usually after a layer, beacon, and backpack women's jackets are at my belly button, not this one! I even zipped out the powder skirt (I've never really liked the extra weight or feel of a powder skirt) and still don't get snow down my pants.

      Best Jacket Ever!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: M
      • Height: 5'9"
      • Weight: 135lbs

I just got the Billie Coat and got to test it out in the two feet of snow the tetons got over the last week and I have to say its AMAZING. The material feels high quality and sturdy (read rip resistant) and the cut is feminine, yet not constricting. After rolling around (falling) in deep snow I had zero snow sticking to my Jacket and it was 100% waterproof. It was only 15 deg out so I was wearing layers underneath, but I'd say that this shell felt warmer than others I've had in the past.

      In love with this coat!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Small
      • Height: 5'5"

I ordered this coat in both a small and a medium and the small fits me perfectly. I have enough room to add layers underneath and it's a flattering cut. I like how long the coat is but was at first concerned the hem might be a little too small for where it falls around my hips. It ended up not being an issue at all and I was comfortable all day. There are plenty of pockets and I appreciate the depth of the hand pockets compared to other coats that I could barely fit a hand in. The pass pocket is a nice feature. I highly recommend this coat!

      Great Looking Coat

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
      • Fit: True to size
      • Height: 5'10"
      • Weight: 160lbs

Great looking coat with plenty of room to layer underneath. Bought this as a gift and was very impressed with the construction - as with all Fly Low gear I have see. works great with the Nina pant

      Love this Jacket!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: small
      • Height: 5'5"
      • Weight: 130lbs

The coat is very high quality, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile ski jacket or one to go out in cold weather cities. It’s a lightweight shell, but keeps you very warm. The fitting is perfect if you're looking for a longer ski jacket. It's a more flattering style -- not baggy at all and more of a tailored fit. The hood is an added plus, as there is plenty of room when wearing your ski helmet. I used to ski in a Dakine Jacket, which was great, but the hood was too restrictive when wearing my helmet, so the FlyLow is much better if this is important to you.

      Loved the shell.

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
      • Fit: True to size

Gave this as a gift. She's only used it a handful of times, but it's comfortable while skiing, and cozy with a midlayer. On warmer days it works fine with just a baselayer, and the pass pocket on the sleeve was a big hit, as well as the chest pocket for her phone/music.

      Happy girlfriend - happy life!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Small
      • Height: 5'6"
      • Weight: 135lbs

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend- she has had a hard time finding a shell that is not only comfortable and high-performing but also flattering and fits well. The Billie Coat is the first jacket that has fully satisfied all of these standards! She absolutely loves it!

      Excited about this shell

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Height: 5'7"
      • Weight: 155lbs

I've only ever hear good things about flylow so i had to go ahead and order one for this season. The coat fits great and has just enough stretch to allow for freedom of movement. I find it very comfortable. There is plenty of room for layers to make sure I stay warm. My one complaint is the zipper on the arm. For my arm length it hits right in the crease of my elbows making it a little uncomfortable when I bend my arm.

Year Round Weather Proofing in Alaska!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I work as a guide both in the summer and winter in Alaska, so I NEED gear that not only can withstand torrential summer rain storms, wet blizzard winter conditions and everything in between; but also that can withstand that many days of use. The Billie Coat is such a coat! I love that my ski coat with pit zips and pockets for all my smaller gear needs also acts as my rain coat for The Brooks Range, The Alaska Range, and everything in between. I highly recommend this coat for backcountry skiers, backpackers, and resort goers who are worried about sufficient water proofing. It's the best shell I've ever owned!

      Best coat on the market

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

From keeping me cool while spring skiing all the way to staying dry and cozy in endless storm days, this coat can survive it all! The Billie Coat is very durable with strong zippers. The pockets are also very big! Ths is the best coat of all time.

      Best Jacket Ever!!!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I LOVE my Billie Coat. It stays waterproof forever. I've washed mine a few times and it's still going strong. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

17/18 FlyLow Billie Coat rocks my world

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

When it comes to gear that works extremely well and actually fits the female body, FlyLow nails it. I took this year's Billie coat on an 8 mile tour while it snowed really Pacific Northwest style wet snow. I stayed dry the entire day and never got too sweaty. The thing breathes surprisingly well for how waterproof it is. See attached pic for fit. I'm wearing last year's Foxy Bibs (best lady bibs EVER, btw) under the Bille jacket. I'm 5'8" 135lbs, and I'm wearing a Medium. It's pretty baggy-- if I liked a tighter fit, I could easily wear a Small, but I like my jackets a little baggy. (I wear Medium bibs, and they fit perfectly.) Nice job, FlyLow. You made my winter... again. :)

      Bomb-Shell!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium
      • Height: 5'9"
      • Weight: 145lbs

Durable yet comfortable shell, perfect for all my ski days - tours, in bounds & sunny, deep powder, room for layering on cold days. My favorite part about this jacket is the length in the arms & torso, being 5'9, 145lbs.

you don't...actually have to be a goat?

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: medium
      • Height: 5'9"
      • Weight: 140lbs

This jacket is perfect. It's been hard to find a coat that keeps me dry inside AND outside of it, looks rad, and actually fits my long torso and long arms without having to size up. flylow NAILED it.

It's roomy enough for me to literally pile on layers without the uncomfortable bunching in the armpits that some women's shells can create, but it's totally non-bulky if you just need a shell; you look steezin either way. bonus: keeps your bum warm.

my first trip out in the billy coat was a resort day in a raging snowstorm and i couldn't be happier with its performance. Despite the crazy wind and wet, heavy snow I was kept astonishingly dry. Totally warm too, with an old patagonia synchilla and hoodie underneath. Even on the lift, man.

Best shell I've ever owned. Totally worth the price...I'd seriously even pay msrp for this coat. If you're tall / long, you run warm, and / or you think lifts are for loosers, this is the jacket for you.

Wondering if anyone can comment on the fit for larger chest size. I am 5' 3", 118 lbs. I should fit in a size small, but am wondering if it will feel tight with a 34C chest?

I'm 5'7" and 110 lbs and I get cold very easily so I have to wear lots of layers underneath (usually a belay puffy when everyone else is in a fleece). If I want a pretty loose cut after layering should I get a medium or small?

Hi Katherine, thanks for reaching out! I'd highly recommend for you to size up if you generally get cold easily, so you have plenty of room for layers. The one thing I'll call out though is be wary of the sleeve measurements as they can change when sizing up.
