Material is peeling off

The outside material is all peeling off on first use… really disappointed with the purchase

Very short durable

Fabric deteriorated in short time, one-two months. Less than a year it shows unweareable. The shape is perfect, but one feel scamed by price-quality ratio. Not for daily use. Don't recommended at all.

Kånken Tree is of very poor quality. The outer layer wears off in less than a month.

Love this bag!

I got the tree kanken and the pocket in the pink color and I absolutely love it. I was worried that my 2018 MacBook Pro 15.6’’ wouldn’t fit but it does — just barely. I wish it was slightly taller so it would fit a bit better, but overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. The fabric and design are so great. I love that I can put bulkier items on the bottom with the straps and attach things to the front with the daisy loops. It makes this bag so much more usable. Cannot recommend this enough.

New adventuring backpack

I was drawn to the Tree-Kånken because of the construction materials. I like the idea of Pine Weave and it feels great. If I didn’t know it was made of a bio-based material, I would think it’s like every other backpack. I really like that Fjallraven is exploring alternatives to fossil-based materials. The Lichen Green is a great colour that looks perfect in the woods. I also picked up the Tree-Kånken Pocket in Maple Yellow to attach and the two colours together look like they came from an autumn walk in the mountains.

So pretty but doesn't last

I really loved this bag so so much, but I had it for a month and it began to peel and it's been peeling since. I don't use this bag excessively, I swap it out regularly and don't carry it recklessly, so I was surprised when it peeled so quickly. I think off brand kankens last longer than the actual brand.

Uncomfortable

This bag is terribly uncomfortable. The straps cut into my shoulders and it's difficult to wear this for long periods of time. The water bottle pockets don't fit a water bottle, which is strange and annoying, so I'm confused about their purpose. I have a 24 oz hydro flask that wont fit :( Overall this backpack was a waste of money. I love that it's sustainable, but for the high price, I should be able to wear it for longer than 10 minutes without wanting to take it off.

The colors wasn't as i expected

in the photos the lilac pink bag colors looks alot lighter then the actual bag and it can come abit deceiving i felt abit underwhelmed when i first saw the bag that i thought i got the wrong color.

Good, but too small.

The design is spot on, much nicer than the old konken, looks more “grown up”/serious, it has it’s uses. However i’m a guy and on me it just looks a too small, like i have a childs bag on my back. I wish there was a large version of this bag, 30l would be perfect for daily trips or the gym/work. Same bag, just larger. Give me that and you will get my money and 5 stars.
