KEB Women Regular= Best ever!

I now have two pair of the Keb women’s trousers. The regular shape/design fits me like a glove. I’ve worn them hiking a few times now. So far they have not stretched out. They are tough, and hod up well to hiking, snowshoeing, and crawling around on rocks.  I’ll be wearing the brown KEBs as a campground host this month. I have used the side ventilation zippers each time I’ve worn them and it works well to keep cool in the desert.

Great all around backpack

Best purchase ever.  This is my go to backpack from here on out. Sold my Northface Borealis and Patagonia Refugio backpack and only using this one from here on out.

Everything you could want from a rucksack

Love this rucksack. Spacious pockets but also useful small pockets in front bit. Handy sunglasses / phone pocket on top. Able to fit quite a lot in, but then also the bag doesn't look strange if you're only carrying a few bits as you are able to adjust the straps to make it a bit slimmer. Used it for the past week hiking in the Pyrenees and it was amazing, also figured a way to strap my hiking poles on, and the elasticated bit really useful for tucking my top into when adding and removing layers! I look forward to using this bag for uni and work, and seeing how it holds up over time, but I am confident it will do me well! and I will return to fjallraven for any future rucksack needs!

Easy to Love.

This is a great bag, which I say as someone who is extremely picky about backpacks. I have a tendency to immediately notice when I feel like something isn't designed right. Or when something is, in my opinion, over-designed, that too. Stuff like that will bug me to no end, and has resulted in a ton of bags being donated or returned over the years. This one? I can't find a single thing to complain about. The zippers fly, the material feels really sturdy. Just-Enough organization and plenty of space. The bag also, owing to it's shape, has a tendency to stay compact when empty, but easily expands out when more stuff gets packed in. Also, the cords up front stay nice and taught to the front of the bag - makes it so that they're not prone to snagging on things. I really think this is a hidden gem of Fjallraven's offerings. Can't recommend it enough. I use this one as my dad bag. For hiking and work, I use an old Fjallraven Keb 30. And I love everything about that pack, but the Skule really makes me think about using it for (nearly) all my needs. I'm happy every time I go to use it, it's quietly perfect.

Good backpack for daily use

Good backpack for daily use that I have been using for a year in Spain, only in heavy rain should I use a waterproof bag because it filters and accumulates inside, very good quality of materials, it is comfortable all year round

Not too big for petite traveler!

I bought the Skule 28 in Mustard at the Hyundai Mall when my shoulder was aching from my leather handbag when I was travelling around Korea. It fit all my solo traveler necessities like powerbank, reusable water bottle, extra clothes. It was not too huge for my small frame and very easy to carry all day. I stuffed my jacket in the bungee cords in front as well as my cap.

Sturdy, confidence inspiring backpack

I spent ages choosing a new backpack. I had only recently bought a new one, from a brand that USED to guarantee their products, but no longer do, and surprise surprise, it broke the first weekend I used it. The Skule 28 though, seems well made, and it was important to me that the website describes it as built for a life time of use - I want it to last! It feels like it will. It feels well made, and is very comfortable to wear. I also love that it has chest and hip straps - It makes me believe that it really IS designed to be filled with stuff and carried. I have only used it for day trips thus far so haven't needed to check out its FULL capacity and the need for those straps BUT they inspire confidence that, at heavier levels of use, not only will it hold up well, but, I will not hurt my shoulders!

In Love With a Bag

After a solid month of investigating different options, this bag has really hit all the sweet spots for me. It's substantial and durable, comfortable to wear, and provides just the right amount of organization. It has a fair range of pockets, but not so many that it starts to feel fussy or overly specific. The main compartment is spacious and can be reduced to a thinner profile using the side straps, and the smaller external compartment has served me well as a dedicated space for a mirrorless camera and lenses. The loops and elastic cord criss-crossing the back provide a nice range of options for securing extra gear. And the overall appearance (I went for deep forest and it looks great) strikes the right balance between technical and casual -- it looks like it's meant to be put to work, but wisely steers clear of any "tactical" vibes that are becoming too common in outdoor gear. Although I bought mine earlier this year, I held off on writing a review until I could put it through its paces a bit. Mine has now been on its fair share of hikes, and served me well for long sunrise-to-sunset excursions where I had to pack a fair amount of stuff including rain gear, water, and a camera. I've found it to be comfortable and versatile, and with exactly the aesthetic I was looking for.

The Perfect Backpack!

It has so many pockets, the water bottle holders are stretchy so I can fit a 32oz Nalgene, it's lightweight even with all my heavy school things in it, and it feels really durable. Loving this bag so far!

Solid Little Bag

Here's an in depth review on the skule 28: Space and Compartments - the backpack is solid for day trips and can satisfy any student, office worker, or athlete. The main compartment isn't as large as other brands with a similar style. The admin pocket can hold snacks, pens, tech items, and other small items - possibly a small hoodie. The bungee system works great for additional clothes or shoes. The side pockets can fit a 36 oz water bottle snugly as the elastic bands are tight but won't come loose. The quick access pocket is not lined with felt but is spacious enough to fit keys, a wallet, earbuds, and a phone. The laptop compartment is in the main compartment and is relatively well padded and suspended, but I wouldn't drop the backpack anytime soon. Two main complaints about the space is the small main compartment and how the quick access pocket limits the reachability of the computer sleeve. Comfort - the backpack has comfortable straps but a flat back panel that slightly bends. The detachable feature of the straps are nice, but I had to cut the hip straps to take them off. The chest strap came off easily. Durability - the backpack is made from a cordura-like fabric and is has a lining on the interior. The backpack is not water proof but is sufficient in rain. I don't imagine the exterior of the bag ripping anytime soon. The admin pocket is made from a nylon-like material. Looks - the bag looks great. The drawback from the smaller size contributes to the sleeker profile. The bag doesn't look too bulky and is big enough for most environments outside of backpacking or hiking. The two straps that surround the bag can cinch and make the bag more sleeker - this design element was well thought out as it does not inhibit zipper from opening fully. The reflective touches are nice and double as a place to hook carabiners to. The bag doesn't scream fjallraven as the logo is smaller.
