This lightly insulated jacket is made from a waxed cotton blend fabric, making it wind- and water-resistant, so you won't have to hurry home if the clouds are threatening flurries. The durable shell is backed by Fjallraven's G-Loft Supreme insulation that offers a high level of warmth in wet conditions. So my wife loves Fjallraven, I do too, dont get me wrong. I was skeptical on this one though, and their are so many jackets similar to this. However, upon receipt, it is VERY clear how this is different than say, the Greenland Parka. This is lightly insulated with their synthetic insulation, and faced with G1000, so you know it will fend off the chill. BUT the best part is the cinch at the back. My wife is very petite and most jackets end up looking a little boxy on her, or SUPER tight in the shoulders to get the right waist size. This jacket allowed her to get the XS (5'4" 110lbs) and have ample room to move, or to layer a chunky sweater under and not have her arms stuck out to the side. Plus the color is amazing.
Would this jacket be warm enough for Minnesota?
Hi Ligia! Thanks for the question. This more of a lighter weight fill Parka. From my experience, it may not be the best from where you are located. You may want to look at the Fjallraven Greenland Parka or the Nuuk. They are a down fill and will have more insulation.
Hi there !
I was wondering if you knew the arm length for this jacket ? Please
Is there a certain size you'd like us to check on that for you?
