Why We Like The Keb Agile Regular Trouser

The Keb Agile Trouser is a trekking pant made to last. Fjallraven crafted it with their G100 Eco fabric that's resilient to the abrasive terrain we often find our adventurous selves navigating. And as if it weren't strong enough already, Fjallraven backed up those prone-to-wear areas with even more reinforcement. But don't worry—the Keb has an articulated design to prevent this armor from restricting our strides on trail.

Game-Changing Trouser for Active Adventurers

I have had these trousers since 2023-05-08 and I have worn them for about 120 days. Let me tell you about how they ruined my opinion of all other trousers forever! The problem with all other trousers is that they aren't stretchy like these, if you go back to standard material trousers after these, good luck, you're bottom half will feel like it's trapped in cage. Denim? Canvas? Work Pants? Nah, don't even bother trying to put those on again. Now, listen here feller, I live up in the rocky mountains of Colorado, I'm a walker, a hiker, a biker, a rock climber, a skier, a split boarder, a nordic skater, a paraglider a caver, a canyoneer, a tree climber, a farmer, and I go on several long expeditions a year. These trousers are GREAT for everything, EXCEPT skiing, boarding, caving, and wet canyons. I've sure beat the heck out of them, and they are still functioning. I prefer wearing them on days when I'm required to be in the concrete jungle as well. I'm knocking a star for two reasons: 1. They don't have a rear belt loop aligned with where your spine is. That means if you prefer suspenders and are used to wearing a Y back, yer gonna have to get creative or buy new suspenders. 2. The cuffs have two button placements and are fixed. This really sucks, I wish they made them like the bottoms of the normal Keb Trousers, where there's a strip of g100 inside a hollow at the bottom with 3 different buttons. Which you can cinch all the way out and button up so they stay at the ankle. Instead, when I'm wearing climbing shoes I have to roll up the cuffs, definitely annoying.

Sizing is WAY off.

I own 4 pairs of the Keb and one pair of the Keb Agile Winter and they all fit perfectly with some room in the waist. Ordered the same size for these (EU 46) and I can barely get them closed at the waist. Very disappointed.

Poor quality

Bought 1 day ago, worn once and the knee has a hole in it already, in the G-1000 knee patch! Was working with a  mountain rescue team capturing content. Most of the journey was in a vehicle so the actual walking distance was only 4KM so very little use. Kneeled down a couple of times to get some shots, terrain was rounded rock with vegetation of heather etc.  On way back one of the team pointed out the hole, saying he has a a similar pair that are years old and still going strong. Will return to store and see what happens!

Everyday go to

Perfect do it all pants for warm weather and shoulder season. can wear these to work and go directly to the climbing gym, on a hike, out to dinner, etc. Perfect blend of breathability, flexibility, durability, and overall utility. So good.

Best pants I’ve ever worn.

These pants are amazing.  Very comfortable, easily packable, they look great.  They are extremely comfortable to walk in due to the combination of stretch material.  Can’t imagine a better design than this.  I haven’t had any zipper issues as I’ve seen others mentioning.  I can only imagine that they are trying to keep the weight down with lighter zipper material.  I’ll be purchasing another pair of these for sure.

Sizing discrepancy

I have the Vidda Pro and Abisko shorts for my hiking. However, these Keb Agile trousers fit tightly at the waist with no give. I tried the next size up, but it was too wide. Added stretch to the waist may help with better fit.

Absolutely Perfect

I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had...until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands (or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. These are going to get a lot of use and I expect them to be as durable and hard wearing as all the many other bits of Fjallraven kit that I own.

The best trousers I have ever worn

I don't normally leave reviews, but felt compelled to in this case. I have long been a fan of Fjallraven trousers for their durability and comfort. These pants blow the other away. They are functional, high quality, and the most comfortable pants I have ever worn. I cannot more highly recommend these pants.

my favorite weekend pants

I love these pants - the fit is perfect and i love the way they look and feel. Only caveat - I agree with others that the zippers are weak. I have had the thigh zipper pop open and the right thigh pocket zipper broke after minimal use. Over all they are amazing and I will get a third pair soon.

Wowzers

If these aren't the best pants you've ever owned, I can't help you. Comfortable and stretchy. Light enough for summer treks, can be worn over longies in the colder months. Super stylish and functional. 6'0 170-175lbs and rock a 48".
