The Fjallraven Bergtagen 1/2-Zip Midlayer Top puts two different jobs into one double-weave fabric. Cordura polyamide faces out to shrug off rock contact and pack straps, while a recycled polyamide face on the inside pulls moisture away from the body during a hard push. Four-way stretch keeps the whole thing moving with us on exposed, technical terrain, and a half-zip pullover design skips the extra material a full-zip jacket would add under a harness. The hood is cut to fit under a helmet, so we can layer it up without swapping gear mid-route.
