Why We Like The Five Ten Trailcross GTX Cycling Shoe
Riding in wet weather is no fun if we aren't prepared for it. When the conditions are sloppy we trust the Five Ten Trailcross GTX Cycling Shoe to keep our feet dry and give us the on-bike performance features that Five Ten is known for. Made with a durable textile upper and featuring an extended neoprene ankle collar, the Trailcross GTX shoe gives us support and comfort all ride long. A GORE-TEX membrane keeps water out and allows our feet to breathe, and a EVA midsole absorbs shock and energy transfer from harder landings to keep us comfortable. Five Ten's Dual compound Stealth rubber outsole provides unbeatable grip for platform pedals and provides good power transfer to the pedals. The lace closure allows us to get the perfect fit and a toe overlay protects our toes when we accidentally kick rocks.

Best Winter MTB shoes I've ever had!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent shoes for Autumn & Winter and very comfortable once on. Toes stay warm and dry! Had a few rides now in the wet and very impressed. Easy to clean - just rinse off mud. Normally a size 10 but hard to get on and was tight once on. I had to go 1/2 size up. Exchange was very swift & easy. 10 1/2 fits very well and much easier to get on yet a little tricky. Love them!

Great winter boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like them. Very comfortable and warm. Good grip when cycling and I don't miss clipless that I have used for 3 decades! Waterproof apart from inevitable water draining down my legs. Understandably difficult to put on but shoehorns help. A friend saw mine and bought a pair.

Best cycling sneaker I’ve purchased
Wow, what a cycling sneaker! This is, by far, the best shoes I’ve had for cycling. The grip is everything (albeit brand new), the ankle support is an added bonus, and the shoe itself is constructed wonderfully that gives warmth and protection. I’m a new fan!

No more wet feet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got back from a wet, muddy ride. I deliberately went through as many puddles as possible to put these boots to the test. And I've come back with lovely warm, dry feet 😁.Found them very comfy and super grippy on the pedals.Worth every penny.

Wife couldn't get the shoe on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very specific to my wife who I purchased these for. We are 67 with all the associated age issues but we ride bike weekly. I wanted a higher ankled MTB shoe to keep the cold wind off her feet and ankles. She normally wears a W6.5. Because there is no tongue to open the shoe up, she was not able to get her foot into the shoe. We tried a W7 and W7.5. If these shoes had a laced up opening they would have been perfect. She does use a pair of FIVE TEN TRAILCROSS XT shoes and LOVES them! IF you had a High TOP FIVE TEN TRAILCROSS XT shoe with insulation that would be perfect and I would buy a pair.

Seem well made. Grip well.
Tricky to pull on to begin with. Only worn them twice but kept my feet warm & dry.
