Headgate Tippet Holder

The standard Headgate holds up to 7 standard tippet spools and fits most common spools (for example Rio Powerflex 30-yard spools in 2X–6X); XL increases capacity for larger spools.

The Headgate is made from anodized aerospace aluminum for durability and corrosion resistance in wet conditions; XL models add stainless steel components and rubber gaskets for extra security.

The Headgate uses a spring-loaded hinge and pull mechanism for quick spool access and includes an integrated razorblade line cutter for on-the-fly trimming.

The Headgate features a clip and a retractor/lanyard attachment hole (clip included) to hang on vests, shirts, packs, or daisy chains; the XL variant offers a removable clip and larger internal capacity to accommodate big spools.
