I owned a jacket in brown from the early 2000s. I sold it because I lost weight and the wool was just too uncomfortable. I really liked the look of the white and black plaid and with the sale it was down to a reasonable price. The fit and finish of this jacket was as good as the older one but the wool was far better. Really glad I was able to get one. I had a size 44 and the new jacket in large seams smaller. Fits great with a mid layer.

Been waiting to get one of these for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. Did not disappoint! You can feel the quality. My wife loves it on me. These run big, I wear an XXL in everything (including Filson shirts) and the XL Mackinaw fits great! Now I'm just mad because I want one in every color. Thanks for nothing Filson!

Fits large. Had to sens back for a large. XL was like a double x. The material is the best. Such a classic tough look. Heavy wool that keeps you so warm and looking classy. Its my favorite jacket. Work, Constuction sites, dinner, church...It WORKS'
