Fizik Terra Atlas
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 44
I have a couple of hundred miles in these shoes. The fit is good. One of the studs fell out of the shoe on the first ride and Fizik customer service never responded about a request for replacement. Note that the boa dials on the shoes do not loosen (multi-directional), they either open or tighten, which may be a deal breaker for those that like to loosen while riding.

Not nearly as good as its predecessor
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This replaced the Terra X5 shoe. It is almost identical except for the removal of the lower strap. This was not something that should have been removed. I can tighten the top of the shoe, but now my toes and lower end of my foot are way too loose while riding. Tightening the BOA more just tightens the top and does nothing for the toe end. After trying these out I found a like-new used pair of Terra X5 on eBay thankfully and am back on the shoes I love. Since I can't return these due to taking a muddy mtb ride, I will keep them as backups for muddy race weekends.
