I had experimented with cheap inflatables and struggled with sliding around on sweat and pressure points until I pretty much swore off the pads and got into ultralight cots. I gave the exped a chance as it fits perfectly with the dimensions of my custom freestanding tarp/tent. I had no idea what an upgraded experience I had been missing. I sleep comfortably in Texas springtime with highs approaching 90s during the day. The duo packs out tight and is economical on weight especially if you are sharing it. I have also enjoyed the luxury of spreading out on it solo. Great piece of summer gear.
