I bought this amazing family and dog-friendly sleeping pad four years ago and it is, frankly, terrific. It fits me, my husband, and our six-year-old, or me and the kid plus a few medium-sized dogs. It's just now starting to lose a bit of air overnight, so I'll need to give it some love. But 10/10, highly recommend for family campers and dogs. This thing has taken everything we've ever thrown at it. The only downside is that it's really hard to get minimized for a sleek stuff sack profile. Mine is always trying to explode out.

This is the best purchase we've made for car camping. Bought after a friend let us crash on theirs. They use it as an air mattress when they have guests staying in their basement and we had the best sleep ever so decided to spring for it. The first time we used it, it kept us so warm on unexpectedly 40 degree night. No ragrets. Just get it.

I love the comfort of this foam air pad better than my bed. I always look forward to camping because I get the best sleep!! It’s SO comfortable!

Cautiously Optimistic

I bought this mattress based on the glowing reviews. I wanted something for car camping trips that would be comfortable enough for my partner and I to share, and this seemed like the ticket even though it was pricey. It's mostly lived up to my expectations — it's definitely super comfortable! I used it on two weekend camping trips, and then on only the third use it wouldn't hold air overnight. This was massively disappointing as I'm careful with my gear. It was stored as the manufacturer recommended and I was careful to brush off any dirt or sand before rolling it up at camp. I've used a few other types of inflatable sleeping pads over the years and have never encountered a leak. On the plus side, their customer service was excellent. I had to pay for shipping to Tacoma for repairs (which was about $80, so not by any means cheap), but they repaired and shipped it back for free within a few weeks. The shipment included a slip indicating that my mattress had three leaks, one on the top and two on the sidewall, and I'm still not really sure how they happened. Really hoping it doesn't develop any more leaks, as I will be asking for a refund or replacement if it happens again with such little use.

If you are trying to woo city slicker by taking her out camping, this is the pad to use. Fits perfectly in the REI half dome 2+. Comfortable. Roomy. A little bit of a process to inflate and deflate, but...eh...it is what it is. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars.

I bought this to use in our roof top tent and it is just a game changer. Hands down best sleep I?ve ever gotten while camping using this pad. The inflate and deflate process is quick and easy, rolls up easily and super comfortable. Highly recommended!

No need to lose sleep crammed on a small camping pad worried about ending up on the ground. The Megamat will get you stoked to get out there although you may not want to get out of bed..
