Great shoes!
Comfortable, yet perform well. Not as aggressive as some shoes, but I'll sacrifice that for the comfort of my toes. If I need better performance for a specific boulder problem, I can easily change out shoes.

First rate beginner or intermediate shoe
Fits great, feels great. The best non-aggressive shoe in my opinion. Sizing runs a little small... my street shoe is 10.5 (43.5) but I wear an 11 (44.5) for Kronos.

Great Shoe
The shoe fits great and seems to be holding up well so far. I have used them about 10-15 times bouldering indoors. I do recommend trying a few different sizes to get the right fit. The velcro straps are useful for quick and easy adjustments. They are a bit more stiff than my previous shoes, offering a bit more support on smaller footholds, but still flexible enough for some sensitivity and comfort. I personally cannot speak for professionals, but these shoes are great for beginner-moderately experienced climbers!

Runs extremely small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I normally wear size up due to my wide feet - 5.5 (m) /7.5 (w) - I had to size up 3 times > to 8 (m)/9 (w), so like 4 sizes up. What's up with this sizing? The length measurements are absolutely inaccurate. Very off. Other then sizing, it's a comfortable shoe.

Great beginner shoe.
I’ve tried numerous shoes and this one was the most comfortable to me as a beginner climber. The shoes does run small to make them tight so remember to size up a full size if you want a more comfortable but snug fit.

Pretty Durable
I've had these shoes for just over a year, and they've continued to perform very well both outdoors and indoors while staying relatively comfortable. I came from La Sportiva Tarantulas in a men's 9, and these fit great at a men's 11, so the sizing is definitely different. I really like the rubber on this shoe, it doesn't slip very often and I find myself trusting some ridiculously small feet sometimes and it ends up working. Haven't seen any sign that these need resoling yet, and I climb twice a week.

Good for casual use
My street-size is 9,5 so I ordered Kronos size 10 and 10,5. The size 10 pair was a better fit, but I should have bought even smaller, because two months later they have stretched out and are a little loose. Now they slide on like a normal shoe, but the adjustable strap helps a little with this. Otherwise the shoe is good for casual use, but not very good for small holds. The top of the shoe doesn't allow for a very good toe-hook or bat-hang. Also my heel has a weird shape in that most climbing shoes I have tried on have had empty space under the heel and this includes the Kronos, but it doesn't really hinder heel-hooking fortunately. There is a bad smell in the shoe even though I air them out every time and use shoe-deodorant. Baking soda took most of the smell away for I think one session, but that was it.

Size feedback
It took a return to get the sizing right so I thought I'd write a review to maybe make it easier for other buyers. I generally have size EU 43 (mens) for regular shoes. So far I've only had one pair of climbing shoes, they were EU 42.5. As a beginner - intermediate indoor climber I thought they were a good fit. I initially bought a pair of 9.5 Kronos (EU 42.5), but they were terribly small so I returned them and followed the evolv size guide for comfort fit and got a pair of 10.5 Kronos (EU 44). They have roughly the same fit as my other EU 42.5 climbing shoes. So far the shoes work well for me and I appreciate that they are vegan and have a toned-down color scheme.

I've been climbing for 2 years and working to more aggressive shoes. This is a good first step beyond the entry level shoe. My first dozen climbs with these shoes has gone well and I feel that I have a better feel for the wall while I climb.

Hi, I am looking for a shoe, that is comfortable like the Defy, but a little bit more sensitive and I am thinking about buying the Kronos. Is the Kronos more sensitive than the Defy and how do they compare in width? Should I buy the same size?
