    Not As Cushy As Expected

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

This was a father's day gift because my dad has issues with his right wrist. I thought they would be more cushioning than they are. They are still very nice grips.

Also, make sure to put Isopropyl alcohol inside the grip before sliding it on, makes a world of difference.

    Comfy grips

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I really like these. I have bigger hands so the bigger diameter of these feels great to me. Also awesome if you ever ride without gloves. The only downsides to these are if you crash they get shredded, when they get wet they get quite slippery, and they are a struggle to get on. Still awesome and would recommend!

    Soft and Supple

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

great light weight grip. Slightly harder to install than other grip but they are totally worth the effort. Definitely up to the task of keeping my hands comfortable on long rides, and fatigue free on way back down.

    Don't google "Extra Chunky"

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just don't do it. Especially don't click the "images" tab.

These grips are great, they are light, comfortable, and hold their color forever (and don't bleed that color on to anything else).

Trick to install: Dump some rubbing alcohol in the grip, spray some on the bar so it coats it completely, and work fast!! Once that alcohol dries out you're working with significantly more friction.

Have had zero issues with them slipping as well, despite the fact that some insist that they spin. I have a lot of weight over the front of my bike and never have this issue.

    From Blisters to Bliss

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These things saved my riding. I was getting terrible blisters on my stock grips and switched to these things hoping they would aid. After riding with these grips I haven't got anything even close to a blister. Superb grip and shock dampening. Also with the flashy colors you can get a pretty sweet look going if you're into that. For how much they cost, it's at least worth a try if you're looking to give another grip a shot.

    Best grips I've found

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These grips are awesome. I upgraded from the standard lock-on Santa Cruz grips that came with my bike and it made a world of difference. They are less fatiguing, more comfortable, and distribute the pressure across the palm much better. For reference I wear a Large size glove, and mainly focus on Trail riding.

Really helped with my hand numbness

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love these grips. I have small hands and the vibrations on my handles would always make my hands go numb. These grips totally helped! A bit of a pain to install, I followed the directions on the packaging. Def recommend!

    Haven't found anything better.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After being adamant that ODI grips were the best, one of my buddies suggested I give these a go as my old grips were worn out. I didn't fully believe them at first, but wow are these killer. I ride and race a rigid steel fame and these grips take out way more trail chatter than any of my previous grips had. I almost immediately went back and bought another pair for my other bike. I don't know why I didn't give these things a try sooner!

    Too Chunky for Small Hands

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Love the pink color, they added some pop to my all black bike but unfortunately these were too chunky for my small hands. While they were definitely comfortable and grippy at first after a long ride I had changed my mind.
Also, be aware when you are putting them on if you have cut down your bars and still have potentially sharp edges. One grip ripped while sliding them on so I was unable to return!

Add some comfort to your ride!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I put accidentally put a knife into my hand a couple years ago and have found that mountain biking on my hard tail has never been the same since. It was much harder to hold on and I felt like every vibration was too much to handle. However, a friend recommended me these and all of the vibrations diminished. I can go much faster now as the grips allow me bomb down the mountain in comfort. Get these if you want to decrease the vibrations coming out of your handle bars.

    Comfort and Grip

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

If you like a soft squishy grip on your mountain bike, look no further. These large grips cut down on hand fatigue on a long day of riding and seem to be built to last. Especially good for those that don't wear gloves as these are tacky enough to hold your grip but not sticky.

    My favorite grips

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After switching to pretty much carbon everything, vibration was numbing my hands. I tried ESI and was instantly sold. They don't have hard plastic sleeves or lock rings, so there is more material to take vibration, but they don't hurt the feel of the bike. The lack of a lock ring also lets you move your hands around a little more so you can grip closer in or further away without grabbing a lock ring.

They are tacky, but not gooey or sticky. They just seem to mold to my hand and grip well wet or dry, gloves or no gloves.

Since they don't lock on, I thought I might torque them around, but there is no way that is happening. I'm super hard on grips, but 10 races and hundreds of miles later and they haven't moved or failed.

I actually switched the grips on all my bikes to these because I like them so much. Just follow the directions when installing them and enjoy.

    Sometimes simple is just better.
