The IronRange 140 Belay Parka from Escape Climbing exists because standing around in the cold shouldn't be the reason a session ends early. It's the heaviest insulated option in the lineup, built specifically to fix the problem of a belayer who's colder than the climber.

140 grams of 3M Type KL insulation adds serious loft while staying light enough to stuff into a pack once the sun comes back around. A belay snap and bottom up zipper keep the parka working while clipped in, and a helmet compatible hood covers the head at exposed anchors without needing to be removed and readjusted constantly. Inside pockets keep a phone from dying in the cold, and toggles at the hem and hood seal out drafts.
