Ripstick 88 and Defiance 11 GW, matched and ready to mount
The Elan Ripstick 88 Ski comes matched with the Defiance 11 GripWalk Binding, so an advanced-rated ski still steps in easy and releases predictably. The ski's Tubelite woodcore and carbon reinforcement stay light and responsive without ever feeling harsh underfoot, and the Amphibio profile keeps turn initiation intuitive as conditions shift. The binding's wide AFD plate and 3.5 to 11 DIN range give that responsiveness a secure floor, so pushing the ski harder never outpaces what's holding it down.
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I skied a groomer faster than I meant to on my first run, and the binding held exactly where I expected without any extra thought. That confidence is what let me spend the rest of the day pushing instead of second-guessing my setup."
