Seven Summits+ Ski Set - 2026 - Women's

Rocker refers to the raised tips and tails of the ski, which enhances floatation in powder and makes turning easier. Camber, on the other hand, is the arch in the middle of the ski that provides better edge hold on hard snow and stability. A ski that combines both rocker and camber offers a balanced performance, allowing you to enjoy various snow conditions, whether you're carving on groomed trails or navigating through powder.

A poplar core is made from lightweight yet strong wood, which helps reduce the overall weight of the ski. This makes it easier to maneuver and control while skiing. Additionally, poplar provides a smooth and damp feel, enhancing your overall skiing experience by absorbing vibrations and providing stability on different terrains.

A sintered base is crafted from small plastic pellets that are heated and pressed together, resulting in a dense and durable surface. This type of base excels in absorbing wax, which improves glide and speed on snow. If you want to maximize your performance and enjoy a smoother ride, skis with a sintered base are an excellent choice.

Radical long travel bindings are designed specifically for backcountry skiing, emphasizing a lightweight design that doesn't compromise performance. The long travel feature allows for a greater range of motion, making uphill climbing easier and more comfortable. This design also enhances your control during descents, making it a great option for adventurous skiers looking to explore off-piste terrain.

Precut skins are strips of material that attach to the bottom of your skis to provide traction when climbing uphill. The "precut" feature means these skins are already tailored to fit the specific dimensions of your skis, saving you time and ensuring a perfect fit. This convenience allows you to focus on your skiing adventure without the hassle of trimming skins to size, enhancing your overall experience in the backcountry.

Yes! Skis that feature both rocker and camber are designed to perform well in a variety of snow conditions. The rocker helps with floatation in powder and makes turning easier, while the camber provides stability and edge hold on hard-packed snow. This versatility makes them suitable for skiers who want to enjoy different terrains and conditions without needing multiple pairs of skis.
