For a better hike.
Deuter's Airlite 22 Backpack brings a seriously comfortable carry to day-long hikes over tough terrain. Its Aircomfort FlexLite suspension system has a twin-frame design that enhances flexibility as well as ventilation by separating the pack's load from your skin. This system also includes anatomic shoulder straps and waist belt made of 3D AirMesh padding for breathable cush.
Inside the Airlite's top panel, you'll find a hydration system that's compatible with three-liter reservoirs. The front stow pocket has a detachable rain cover, and there are dual waist belt pockets perfect for trail mix. Deuter also added side pockets for water bottles and compression straps for a secure load.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Love having a smaller pack that I can use for shorter hikes and excursions. It is large enough to fit up to a full 3L water reservoir of any brand and still has plenty of space for other stuff in the pack. the pockets on the waist straps are great for holding small items. There is a system that keeps the bulk of the backpack away from your back so there is airflow on your entire back. That's a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this or anything in this series to anyone.
great little pack
I did a fair amount of research before I bought this small day pack and am nothing but satisfied with it. The back suspension system fits great and allows ventilation. Chest, shoulder and hip cinch belts adjust easily. The zippered mesh pockets on both sides of the waist snap are great for snacks. I mainly got the pack for it's size and that it had mesh water bottle pouches on either side. Interior top compartment for my wallet, top straps for a raincoat. This is a great, lightweight small pack. I just did the rim to rim in the Grand Canyon and could not have asked for a better pack.
