Why We Like The Dakine Tour Snowboard Bag

When weight (and cash) is your highest concern, ditch the wheels but keep the features with the Dakine Tour Snowboard Bag. We can load up the main compartment with a board, pair of boots, and extra outerwear, then throw essential items like tuning kits in the exterior zippered pocket. 360-degree padding keeps our hard goods protected, while the removable padded shoulder strap and dual end handles make for easy transportation. And the Tour is impressively lightweight—less than 4 pounds. So even when toting a full kit, we don't rack up extra baggage fees. Plus, it packs down tight for easy storage when not in use.

Dakine snowboard bag

So handy to keep all my ski gear together. It holds my skis, poles, boots and helmet.

Poor durability

Excitedly purchased this bag because of good reviews and the historical quality of DaKine products. The reason for purchasing this bag was a last minute trip to Idaho to snowboard and meet some friends. I have never traveled by plane with my snowboard so I wanted it protected. The bag seemed decently padded and well made when I received it. I took extra precaution to pad my snowboard with beach towels around the rails so there were no sharp edges against the bag. To my disappointment(understatement), when we arrived at the airport the bags seams failed at multiple areas. My snowboard was basically hanging out of the bag!..unbelievable. I am very disappointed in the quality of the construction of this bag and I would avoid at all cost. However backcountry quickly returned without issue

Great bag

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I paid $95 for mine when I got it and it was worth it. I have the wheelie locker too which is nice but heavier and bulkier. This was great for a couple boards and some gear for a quick weekend trip. I did put it on a plane a few times and it?s held up. The wheelie locker is nice for longer trips, but I think this one could work for both. I am also using to store my boards and some winter clothes during the summer. It also fir more than I expected.

high quality bag at a good price

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
165cm

Just received mine yesterday. Looks amazing and it's the perfect size to fit my 161cm board, boots, and still have plenty of space for outerwear. The build quality is very good and looks like it will last. I do wish that the outer pocket was lockable though.
