New work/day pack!

This bag is a great size for a rugged/durable work companion. I’m also planning to use as a hiking day pack. It comes with loops on the straps that you can use for trekking poles which is awesome! Even though there aren’t any exterior water bottle holders, there are two pockets on the inside which will fit a large water bottle. The reason they put them to the inside is so the zipper can go down the majority of either side of the pack which I find useful when stuffing my oversized lunch bag into the pack. There is a lot of space in this pack for only being an 18L! I got raspberry and I’m in love with this color! It’s honestly the whole reason I decided to get it. That and the waterproof TPU coating because I will be biking to work sometimes!

Very Durable Yet cute

This backpack is exactly what I ordered. It is light weight and still feels good. It has the perfect amount of space for anything. It could use some water bottle pockets on the outside though.

High Quality

Love the quality of this pack! Bought for daily use to take back and forth to work my 24 hr shifts (paramedic). I do wish it had some more compartments for organization but the size is great and it fits my devices that I take back and forth with me. This pack was on sale so I bought on a few whim. Looking forward to adding more packs for trips and camping in the future!

High quality. Good service.

This is my first Cotopaxi product and definitely not my last! Had some questions on the whether another model was made with waterproof material. Cotopaxi got back to me in a day. I went with the Vaya because the material would be able to handle wet weather! It’s an awesome everyday pack. Doesn’t have outside bottle pockets, but I use such a large bottle (32oz metal insulated) it wouldn’t fit in most bottle pockets anyway! Super comfortable. Couldn’t be happier. And love that it is made in the Philippines 🇵🇭 I’m confident this pack will last a long time.

I'm Impressed, as Always

Cotopaxi doesn't miss. I purchased this bag because I am moving to a hot and humid country that rains a lot. I figured the TPU coating would help with that. People complain about the bag not having a water bottle holder but it does on the inside. Besides, water bottle holders on the outside of bags don't look clean at all. I love how the zipper opens 3/4 of the bag so you can fit or find anything easily. My one gripe is that there is no place to put your pens and pencils like in most backpacks but I have a cotopaxi bag I use as a pencil case that fits perfectly in the second water bottle holder. It fits my 15 inch laptop perfectly as well. For school, this is perfection. The quality is great as always. I have a cotopaxi bag I got in 2015 that still looks new despite being used constantly. If you care about quality, cotopaxi bags have been worth it for me. Look no further!

Got this for lugging my laptop and its accessories to work. I really like the simplicity and style of the bag. It’s also very light.

Not BOMA

I have love my BOMA 13 for the past 5 years. The color, simple, classic design, the color & the material. I can go on & on. I still have it & not past with it. I settled on the Vaya 18L after trying the Dia 22 (I think??). While I liked the aesthetics of the Dia - the bonus was the water bottle carrier feature - the top cinch mechanism was IMPOSSIBLE for my arthritic fingers. Plus the length of the pack was doing a number to my neck. Thankfully, the Vaya was shorter & met my needs. The one difference that still sets the BOMA apart is the seamless design to the front chest straps: I could adjust it by merely sliding it up & down whereas the Dia requires yet another cumbersome adjustment that requires unhooking the entire strap & reposition it to the the preferred notch. Again, for my arthritis fingers, not so easy to do. Dont care either for the plastic feel of the pack. I will forever loooove & keep my BOMA. I will, however, remain a fan of Cotopaxi❣️
