Great, warm vest!

I'm obsessed with this vest - the length, the weight, the double zipper and especially the fleece lining around the neck!

This was a replacement for a much loved and trusty OR down vest and I was drawn to this Cotopaxi since it shared many of the same features (advertised as mid-thigh, responsibly sourced down). I also loved the orange color. After wearing this vest for the last several months, I have developed a few thoughts: - Although advertised as mid-thigh, this Cotopaxi vest is just enough to cover my bum (top of thigh max), making it great for making it great for walks in addition to "around," and the fabric easily brushes off most dirt. To note, I bought a size large - I am 5'6", short-waisted athletic build, 165lb. I can easily wear multiple layers without impacting my range of motion or feeling tight. - The collar is dreamy, soft, and warm for cool weather. However, it would be nice if Cotopaxi released a version with a hood in the future. - The pockets are stellar - the side pockets are deep, soft, and zipper. I also appreciate having the interior zipper pocket. -As far as weather, I have only worn this in drizzle and strong wind, and I can say that it kept my core warm and dry... Overall, I am happy with finding a close replacement.

Solazo vest

The Solazo vest is one of my favorite pieces from Cotopaxi, love the colors, love the quality, love the collar is very warm, love the thickness, love truly love everything about the vest, I will be getting a second vest soon, I have my eyes on the solid black, can’t wait to get it. They do run a lot large.

Perfecto

Me quedo grande, mas grande de lo que esperaba. Pero no lo cambio. Como sabia que iba a ir encima de otro "jacket," y ropa (en capas/layers) no me molesto, pero si corre grande la talla dependiendo del uso que le quiera brindar la persona. Me gusto mucho que tiene material adicional y que no queda justo a la cintura sino a la cadera.

This vest is IT

I visited the Cotopaxi outlet when I was on vacation in New Hampshire. This vest is so warm, durable and is perfect for hiking or going to the cute shops in the center of North Conway. I loved it so much I went back a few days later and bought a Fuego jacket. Excellent customer service.

I am thrilled with my new Solazo down best! Great colors and I love the soft fleece collar! Great length and fit.
