Goodbye Northface, Hello Cotopaxi!

Ive been an avid northface wearer my entire life. I would have multiple jackets that I would bounce around from throughtout the winter as the conditions changed. Thats all over now after finding the Salazo Down Parka. This thing can do it all in every condition. I remain just as warm in it with a T shirt as I did in my northface jackets all layered up. It held up to some of the harshest Vermont winter condtions this year and was a warm insulated oasis. Thank you !

Awsome jacket and bag

The more fluffy jacket is super warm! It looks great and is just right out comfortable. The 20l bag is cool looking and very useful!!

If they had my size I’d order another one. Just got done hiking in 36 degree weather with a light rain and I stayed dry & warm! The only complaint is that when you cross your arms or hug someone it gets a little restricted in the shoulders. I have broad shoulders though so this may not be an issue with most people. It’s actually more roomie around the torso than my other medium sized Cotopaxi jacket. Even with the tight shoulder area I still LOVE the way this coat fits.

I really love this jacket/parka. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's great for a wide range of temperatures. I usually run pretty hot but I wore this in the upper 40's and low 50's without feeling overly warm. I've also worn this down into the 20's and felt comfortable as well with a hat and pair of mittens. I really enjoy the kooky Cotopaxi colors (I bought the chestnut and saltwater version). My only complaint is that there were a few loose threads aka minor factory imperfections but I assume that's why this was for sale for more than 60% off when I bought it. Besides the few loose threads this jacket/parks is amazing.

Stylish, stealthy, and toasty warm

I grabbed the charcoal / black edition of the Solazo in medium. It fits perfectly (I’m 6 feet, 165 lbs)l. It looks styled with almost anything. Better yet, it’s soft, snug, and envelops the wearer in downy, comfy, warmth. Like a slanket but without the embarrassment. Great product!!

Comfy and Good Fit

I was looking for a long time for a coat to fit my frame. I am just bigger than a medium, so I need a large. Large coats for me are usually far too loose around the mid section. This coat in a large fit me just right. I like the colors cotopaxi uses for their jackets and this one is deceptively warm based on bulkiness. The snugger fit keeps the warm in better. Also, materials are nice and soft against the skin. I highly recommend this brand.

Perfectly warm

I live in a very cold climate and, though it hasn’t been exceedingly cold here yet, I already know this jacket will be the warm hug I need when a bitter, angry Old Man Winter wakes up from his nap.
