Good boots, not so good liners
I bought these a couple months early in preparation for a trip to the snow. I knew my son was a size 5, so I didn’t bother to try them on. Absolutely could NOT get his foot into the boot with the liners in. Pulled them out, and tried to put them on like socks before putting them in the boot. The liners probably equated a size 3. There was no way my son’s foot was getting in them. We ended up doing multiple layers of socks, and that seem to work. The outer shell of the boots is super sturdy. Columbia just needs to get their sizing right. I wish I would’ve tried them on sooner, because now I am out of my return window.

Size up!!
Size up. My 2yo wears a size 5 in regular shoes/slippers. These boots in size 7 fit her perfect with room for thick socks

Not toddler friendly
These are impossible to get on. In theory they are great, however, when you're trying to get these on a wiggling toddler they are not practical. I have 20 month old twin boys and the time and energy it takes to get them into these is not worth it.

Do not recommend
Do not buy! Could not get my kids foot in. Super stiff. Plus a protruding piece of plastic in the front by the ankle in both boots. The insert is extremely difficult to put back in. I can’t believe this is a Columbia product.

Too Small
I could not get this on my child's foot. They seem like good quality, but it was so tight I couldn't get them even close to on.

Happy little puddle jumper
I bought these boots for our 2 year old knowing that they needed to last for our 4 month old as well. Our 2 yr. old loves them for how easy they are to put on and how great they are for jumping in puddles and still able to run around. They are well made and will work great for her younger brother when they fit him.

Inner liner is too small!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great boot however, the inner liner is too small. I could not get my daughter's foot in no matter how hard I tried. Finally took the liner out and noticed that it was extremely narrow. My daughter was able to wear the boot but without the liner. She wore two pairs of wool socks for cushioning and support. Her feet were warm enough but I am extremely disappointed at the construction of the inner liner :(.
