Overall great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit and very comfortable. I wore them the other weekend for the first time and hiked 5-6 miles. I didn't have any pain the next day either from breaking them in.

Good boot for price
Bought these for myself and my teen for a trip to Acadia. They performed well without any break-in time. We had great weather so did not get to test the waterproofing. I would rate 5 stars, but there is NO insole/arch support. If you needed you could replace the insole.

Comfortable and excited to hike some more them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked that there was hardly any breaking in time for these boots! I wore them right out of the box on my latest hike and my feet felt protected and cushioned. I haven't gotten to test the waterproof quality to these boots yet, but my friend has the same pair and she mentioned that her feet stayed dry when we had to walk through some water and mud in a previous hike.

Great First Pair of Hiking Boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these boots while hiking through Scotland and Ireland. They provided great grip on rocky and slippery surfaces, kept my feet dry when walking through streams and puddles and gave great ankle support. I worn them 12+ hours on some days and was comfortable. I sized up by half a size as recommended, which gave my toes enough room when hiking downhill. These are my first hiking boots and I would recommend them. I chose them based off the other reviews listed on this website.

Great for hikes!
