Hiking boots don't have to break our budget, thanks to the Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II Hiking Boot. Its leather, suede, and synthetic mesh uppers are coated with polyurethane for weather resistance and backed up by a waterproof bootie, making the boot mud-resistant and puddle-proof. Columbia's TechLite midsoles cushion our feet while their Omni-Grip rubber outsoles keep us from slipping and sliding on the trail.

Quality hiking boot with good materials.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a well constructed and quality boot. Your feet feel very stable over most terrain in these, from what I can tell. The laces and lacelet holes are strong and I don't see them wearing out much. It feels comfortable to walk in above all else and they are very light, which is good for a hiking boot. The size fit normally for my size shoe. If you own AF1s they are about the same size as such.

Great Dad Gift

Cracked! Poor quality.

Good looking boots but not durable at all…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these boots for my hiking trips in Arizona, Utah and lately in Alaska… I normally do trails in any conditions. Unfortunately these boots started to fall apart after year one and are not sturdy at all. Shoe soles seems new despite miles under them but the skin peels off especially on the sides and at every bump against branches or rocks the top of the shoes peels off. The shoe is waterproof but disappointing to see a hiking shoe so fragile.

Have bought multiple pair. These are great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is in Scouts. He is constantly hiking and camping and putting his hiking boots through the ringer. This is our fifth pair of Columbia boots since fifth grade. The only reason we’ve had to buy new ones is because his foot keeps growing. Little brothers wish these boots would wear out so that they could get new beat boots and not his hand me downs. One day his foot will stop growing. Then he might wear some out but it’ll take a while. They are great boots!
