Good lightweight hiking shoe

Overall good shoe

Had to go up a 1/2 size from my normal hiking shoe sizing (which is already a 1/2 size up)…so a full size larger than my regular shoe size. These are 1/2 size smaller than my old Columbia hiking shoe. That said, once I got them they are what I was looking for in a sturdy shoe.

The best allies

My go to. Comfortable, versatile and stylish.
Comfortable and Waterproof. Tried others but keep coming back to these. Love them as I live an active lifestyle outdoors. The brown are my fave as they don't show the dirt.

I'm a long term Columbia customer. Bought this shoe and was not happy with the small amount of padding in the tongue and heel. After several days of breaking it in and about 10 days of wearing it for walking (not hiking) the front toe guard separated from the mesh. Customer service wanted the shoes sent back at my expense.
